This role provides technical and engineering support to Project and Construction Managers while coordinating closely with Program Management Office (PMO) staff, contractors, architects, engineers, inspectors, consultants, and College personnel.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of supporting multiple projects in a fast-paced construction environment.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 24pt\">Education Requirements</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Bachelor’s degree in:</span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Engineering</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Construction Management</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Business</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Or a related field</span></li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Additional qualifying experience exceeding the minimum requirements may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 24pt\">What You’ll Do</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Participate in and occasionally lead design and construction meetings</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Conduct field inspections on construction, demolition, rehabilitation, alteration, addition, and repair projects to verify compliance with plans, specifications, College standards, and DSA requirements</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Read and interpret construction plans and shop drawings</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Assist in preparing written correspondence, reports, procedures, and guidelines</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Support development of weekly and monthly status reports, including project photo documentation</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Review, estimate, negotiate, and process construction change orders and field orders</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Review and enforce construction and professional services contracts</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Manage and coordinate contractors and outside consultants, including invoice review and approval</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Assess project risks and develop risk mitigation strategies and risk registers</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Facilitate resolution of construction and design-related issues</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Coordinate with architects regarding RFIs, submittals, and Construction Change Documents</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Generate and distribute meeting minutes for construction and design meetings</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Verify contractor maintenance of record drawings prior to monthly progress payments</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Maintain project files in both electronic and hard copy formats</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Review submittals for compliance with project plans and specifications</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Generate and draft Proposed Board Actions (PBA)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;
