We are leaders in our industry, supported by an exceptional team.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>We are looking for Crash Truck Drivers to join our team at Ramudden Services.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>The <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Crash Truck Driver</span> plays a vital role within the <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Traffic Control Team</span>, supporting the safe setup, monitoring, and removal of road closures to protect both road workers and the travelling public.</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">We offer:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Benefits through the union</li>\n<li>Employee perk programs including discounted gym memberships and shopping discounts</li>\n<li>Business casual work environment</li>\n<li>Opportunity for growth and development</li>\n<li>Company events</li>\n<li>A great team!</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">You have:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>3+ years in a driving role (i.e. delivery, trucking, construction etc.)</li>\n<li>Grade 12 or equivalent</li>\n<li>Valid driver’s license; DZ preferred but will consider a full G class license coupled with CVOR experience</li>\n<li>A clean driver’s abstract and CVOR</li>\n<li>Ability to drive a variety of vehicles including crash truck, flat-deck and pick-up truck</li>\n<li>Communicate comfortably in English – both spoken and written</li>\n<li>Ability to lift up to 50lbs</li>\n<li>Accessible at all times via telephone and text message for scheduling and work assignment</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">As a Crash Truck Driver, you will:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Under the supervision of a Ramudden Services Team Lead, read and understand traffic control plans and follow verbal work instructions as provided</li>\n<li>Vehicle operation (crash truck) during the execution of highway lane closures, lane opening and worker protection</li>\n<li>Monitor roadway lane closures and communication of safety concerns as identified</li>\n<li>Vehicle inspection</li>\n<li>Paper work including vehicle inspection reporting</li>\n<li>Working Conditions:</li>\n<li>Work outdoors and in a variety of weather conditions</li>\n<li>Periods of standing or sitting during the roadway closure</li>\n<li>Hours of work and work assignments may vary for operational reasons</li>\n<li>Traffic management services may be delivered seven days a week and 24 hours a day</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Ramudden – Seeing how to make the world safer, caring enough to make it happen.</span></p>\n<p>The above statement reflects the general details considered necessary to describe the principal functions of the job identified and shall not be considered as the detailed description of all work required in the job.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Ramudden Canada is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to providing employment in accordance with the Ontario Human Rights Code and the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act.
