Fuss & O’Neill is seeking a Bridge Engineer in New Hampshire who brings strong technical expertise and a passion for building smarter, safer infrastructure. You’ll design and deliver resilient bridge solutions that not only improve transportation but also support the communities who rely on them. Support bridge design and analysis for a variety of multi-disciplinary transportation projects Work closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to prepare design calculations, plans, and specifications Take ownership of assigned tasks while helping to guide entry-level engineers on project work Contribute to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards by completing work accurately and efficiently Participate in site visits and bridge inspections during design and construction to observe conditions, gather data, and support field verification Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Structural Engineering PE or EIT registration preferred 4-6 years of experience in bridge engineering and design Familiarity with New Hampshire DOT strongly preferred; other DOT experience will be considered Proficiency in structural analysis and design software such as AASHTOWare BrR (bridge rating) and BrD (bridge design) Ability to prepare design calculations, specifications, and technical reports compliant with MassDOT and federal requirements Experience collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams This is a hybrid role , offering the best of both worlds—collaborate in-office with a high-performing team and enjoy the flexibility of working remotely part of the week.
