    "description_html": "<p><strong>JOB SUMMARY:&nbsp;</strong></p><p>The House Attendant provides janitorial and maintenance support to housekeeping by ensuring that the premises are always clean and tidy. They prepare rooms for guests and ensure that auditoriums and meeting rooms are well-equipped and neat.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><ul><li>Maintain and clean rooms, bathrooms, and work areas</li><li>Clean furnishings and carpets</li><li>Clean and maintain common areas within the hotel</li><li>Assist with bellman duties when required</li><li>Reply to guests’ questions and handle any concerns</li><li>Assist front desk staff as required</li><li>Replenish supplies in guest rooms</li><li>Change bed linens and empty trash as required</li><li>Assist housekeeping staff with laundry removal</li><li>Strip out linen, terry, and trash from vacant rooms</li><li>Lift and rotate mattresses quarterly</li><li>Immediately reports maintenance deficiencies, damage, or loss to the Housekeeping Department</li><li>Turns in lost and found items in accordance with hotel standards</li><li>Work with machinery both indoors and outdoors, including, but not limited to, vacuum cleaners, electric and manual hand tools, carpet-cleaning machines, and floor buffers.</li><li>Maintains the highest level of cleanliness of the following (once trained): carpets, tile, cement, marble, glass, and all other surfaces</li><li>Other housekeeping-related duties / special project assigned.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>SKILLS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p><ul><li>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required</li><li>Requires the ability to perform housekeeping chores (cleaning units or assisting in the laundry), which involve lifting, bending, and stretching</li><li>Ability to work as part of a dynamic teamand &nbsp;consistently deliver a quality product</li><li>Knowledge of and ability to use Resilient Floor cleaning/polishing and carpet shampoo equipment, etc.</li><li>Able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays</li><li>Basic English language</li><li>Able to handle objects, reach with arms and hands, push carts weighing 100-150 lbs., and lift 50-70 lbs.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>QUALIFICATION:</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation and without posing a direct threat to the safety or health of employees or others.&nbsp;</li><li>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.&nbsp;</li><li>The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
