Their experience, practical knowledge, creativity, and problem-solving skills will ensure that the aircraft engines are maintained in an airworthy and dispatch ready status at all times.</p><p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left: 23px;\">Perform maintenance, repair, modification and inspection of the company&rsquo;s primary engine, the PW F100-220EI engine, as detailed and in accordance with the Company maintenance operations manual.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 23px;\">Assist in intermediate repairs and troubleshooting and may be asked in advanced to extreme repairs for professional development.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 23px;\">Apply comprehensive technical expertise to solve moderate to complex problems by interpreting manufacturer and technical documentation such as military or FAA Technical Orders.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 23px;\">Prioritize the completion of engine work packages to meet deadlines and helping ensure the company meets operational requirements.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 23px;\">Accountable for executing, assessing inspecting, troubleshooting and diagnosing system failures.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Provide training and technical guidance to other technicians.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Ensure replacement parts are inspected, eligible, and properly certified prior to installation.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\"><span data-contrast=\"auto\" lang=\"EN-US\" class=\"TextRun SCXW41935706 BCX8\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW41935706 BCX8\">Ensure removed parts are properly tagged and routed to </span></span><span data-contrast=\"auto\" lang=\"EN-US\" class=\"TextRun Strikethrough SCXW41935706 BCX8\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW41935706 BCX8\">quarantine </span></span><span data-contrast=\"auto\" lang=\"EN-US\" class=\"TextRun SCXW41935706 BCX8\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW41935706 BCX8\">the appropriate department, depending on repair, overhaul or scrap status.</span></span></li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Complete and certify work packages and engine historical forms for all work accomplished.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Perform line and heavy maintenance activitiesin accordance withoperational standards.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 23px;\">Demonstrate adherence to OSHA and OH&amp;S requirements, wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) asappropriateand properlymaintainedtools. Report hazards or potential safety risks to a supervisorimmediately. </li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p>SKILLS AND/OR QUALIFICATIONS</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left: 23px;\">Must possess a working knowledge of all components of the PW F-100-220EIengine.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 23px;\">Proven track record of success working on complex assignments requiring considerable judgment, initiative and technical/specialized knowledge</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while fostering a positive attitude.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Must have strong problem-solving abilities</li><li style=\"margin-left: 23px;\">Proficient in the English language with excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 23px;\">Must be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite</li><li style=\"margin-left: 23px;\">Must demonstrate safe and healthy workplace practices</li><li style=\"margin-left: 23px;\">Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 23px;\">Must be able to travel within the US and internationally.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 23px;\">Must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities of an Engines Technician II in daily work performance.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 23px;\">Must be able to work in various weather environments and conditions.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 23px;\">Must be able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC) and not be barred from any military or DoD installation.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 23px;\">Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 23px;\"><span data-contrast=\"auto\" lang=\"EN-US\" class=\"TextRun SCXW41935706 BCX8\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW41935706 BCX8\">USAF 5 level or equivalent with progressive and documented experience highly desired.</span></span></li></ul><p>CERTIFICATIONS, REGISTRATIONS</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">FAA Airframe and Power Plant(A&amp;P) license/certification preferred. Preference will be given to candidates who hold this certification or are able to obtain within 6 months of hire.</li></ul><p>EDUCATION AND/OR WORK EXPERIENCE</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left: 23px;\">High school diploma or GEDr equired</li><li style=\"margin-left: 23px;\">A minimum of 7years&rsquo; direct maintenance experience and training on PW F-100-220E aircraft.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 23px;\">Understanding of HAZMAT handling and disposure highly desired</li></ul><p>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS</p><p>The Aircraft Technician II must be able to stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, sit, talk, walk, hear, see, and reach with hands and arms.
