This role leads projects from Basic Engineering, or Detailed Engineering development, depending on project size and complexity, through construction, commissioning, and closeout, in strict alignment with the EPM/PMO governance framework.</p>\n<p>The position is focused on project development, engineering coordination, execution planning, construction delivery, and operational handover.</p>\n<p>The Project Manager is accountable for delivering projects that are technically sound, operationally ready, financially controlled, and safely executed in brownfield industrial environments.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<h3>Project Leadership & Delivery</h3>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead B-Complex and C category capital projects in accordance with the EPM/PMO delivery & governance framework.</li>\n <li>Develop and maintain overall project execution strategies covering scope, schedule, cost, risk, contracting, resource plans, and performance reporting.</li>\n <li>Ensure projects are fully defined, properly authorized, and execution-ready before commitment.</li>\n</ul>\n<h3>Project Development & Engineering Coordination</h3>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead or coordinate Basic Engineering development for assigned projects where applicable.</li>\n <li>Manage Detailed Engineering activities, including scope definition, design development, constructability reviews, and discipline coordination.</li>\n <li>Ensure technical solutions are safe, operable, maintainable, and aligned with plant requirements.</li>\n</ul>\n<h3>Governance & Gate Discipline</h3>\n<ul>\n <li>Prepare and lead gate review packages for G3 (Execution Authorization), G4 (Construction Authorization), G5 (Commissioning Authorization), and G6 (Final Closeout).</li>\n <li>Ensure that cost and schedule baselines are formally established and approved as part of gate reviews prior to execution commitment.</li>\n <li>Ensure full compliance with governance standards, readiness criteria, and decision-quality requirements.</li>\n <li>Enforce design freeze, scope control, and change management discipline.</li>\n</ul>\n<h3>Execution Planning & Construction Delivery</h3>\n<ul>\n <li>Develop construction execution strategies, including contractor selection, packaging, sequencing, and site logistics.</li>\n <li>Lead contractor management, mobilization, and site execution.</li>\n <li>Coordinate closely with Plant Management to minimize operational disruption and manage outages and shutdown windows.</li>\n</ul>\n<h3>Cost, Schedule & Commercial Control</h3>\n<ul>\n <li>Develop and manage project budgets, cost forecasts, and cash flow profiles.</li>\n <li>Ensure schedule integrity and proactive recovery planning where required.</li>\n <li>Manage contracts, change orders, claims, and commercial performance.</li>\n</ul>\n<h3>Operational Readiness, Commissioning & Handover</h3>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensure all readiness criteria are met prior to gate reviews.</li>\n <li>Lead commissioning planning, execution, and performance testing.</li>\n <li>Ensure full handover to Operations, including documentation, training, and asset registration.</li>\n <li>Drive disciplined project closeout and lessons learned capture.</li>\n</ul>\n<h3>Project Controls, Reporting & Performance Management</h3>\n<ul>\n <li>Baselining & Performance Framework</li>\n <li>Establish and formally maintain approved cost and schedule baselines at each applicable gate.</li>\n <li>Ensure all project performance reporting, KPIs, forecasts, and change management activities are anchored to approved baselines.</li>\n <li>Maintain strict control of baseline changes through the formal change management process.</li>\n <li>Ensure that baseline integrity is preserved and that any deviations are transparent, justified, and decision-approved.</li>\n <li>Establish and maintain robust project controls systems covering cost, schedule, progress, risk, and change.</li>\n <li>Lead monthly project review meetings with EPM/PMO leadership and key stakeholders, presenting clear status, trends, risks, and required decisions.</li>\n <li>Prepare and issue standardized project performance reports in accordance with PMO reporting standards.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Develop and maintain project KPIs and performance dashboards, including (but not limited to):</li>\n <li>Schedule performance</li>\n <li>Cost performance</li>\n <li>Forecast accuracy</li>\n <li>Risk exposure</li>\n <li>Change management metrics</li>\n <li>Readiness status</li>\n <li>Ensure early identification of deviations and implement corrective actions and recovery plans.</li>\n <li>Provide transparent reporting to Plant Management, PMO leadership, and Executive Leadership.</li>\n <li>Ensure all project data is accurate, timely, and decision-ready.</li>\n <li>Actively contribute to portfolio-level visibility through disciplined reporting and analytics.</li>\n</ul>\n<h3>Stakeholder & Interface Management</h3>\n<ul>\n <li>Act as the primary delivery interface between Engineering, Operations & Maintenance, HSE, Quality, Procurement & Contracts, Finance, and external consultants and contractors.</li>\n <li>Provide clear, concise reporting to leadership on status, risks, and decisions required.</li>\n <li>Build strong working relationships with Plant Managers and site leadership.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>SUCCESS MEASURES</h2>\n<h3>The Project Manager is successful when:</h3>\n<ul>\n <li>Projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within approved budgets</li>\n <li>Cost and schedule performance are measured against <strong>approved, stable baselines</strong> with no uncontrolled scope or forecast drift.</li>\n <li>Gate reviews are passed with high-quality, decision-ready information</li>\n <li>Scope, cost, and schedule changes are controlled and justified</li>\n <li>Plants receive projects that are fully ready to operate and maintain</li>\n <li>Leadership has clear, timely, and reliable visibility of project performance, risks, and outlook</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<h3>Education</h3>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or equivalent)</li>\n <li>Master’s Degree in Engineering, Project Management or Business is a plus</li>\n</ul>\n<h3>Experience</h3>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum 10 years of experience delivering large capital projects in heavy industrial environments (cement, mining, metals/steelmaking, power, chemicals, or similar)</li>\n <li>Proven experience managing complex brownfield projects</li>\n <li>Strong experience in engineering coordination, construction execution, and contractor management</li>\n <li>Experience operating within structured stage-gate / governance models</li>\n</ul>\n<h3>Technical & Professional Skills</h3>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong understanding of industrial plant operations and maintenance realities</li>\n <li>Excellent knowledge of
