MTC is currently hiring&nbsp;CDL Transportation Detention Officers at the Bluebonnet Detention Center in Anson, Texas. </strong>We provide a safe and secure working environment for our staff while helping non-citizens gain valuable skills necessary for success upon release.&nbsp;<br><br><strong>Benefit package includes:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Medical, vision &amp; dental insurance and prescription drug benefits</li>\n <li>Life and Accidental Death &amp; Dismemberment (AD&amp;D) insurance&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Sick and vacation time</li>\n <li>Long- and short-term disability (optional)</li>\n <li>Paid holidays</li>\n <li>401(k) retirement plan</li>\n <li>Employee Assistance Program (EAP)</li>\n <li>Civic duty and military leave</li>\n <li>Education assistance&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Job Responsibilities: </strong>You'll be responsible for the transportation, custody, and discipline of non-citizens assigned to the facility.</p>\n<p><strong>Essential Functions:&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Search for contraband and provide security.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Drive transport vehicles to transport non-citizens in vehicles provided.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Provide custody and security including observation of non-citizens during transportation.</li>\n <li>Perform specific security functions including ‘pat’ and ‘strip’ searches, by squatting and bending to perform such functions. Also required to climb ladders or stairs in search of contraband.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Transfer and transport non-citizens by walking, driving, or riding in vehicles. Restrain and secure assaultive detainees, as needed.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Must be able to work rotating shifts and all posts assignments.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Education and Experience Requirements:&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent required.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Prior corrections experience is preferred.&nbsp;</li>\n <li><strong>Valid CDL in the state of Texas with an acceptable driving record required.</strong>&nbsp;</li>\n <li><strong>Passenger endorsement necessary to receive annual stipend.&nbsp;</strong></li>\n <li>Successful completion of the ICE/ERO bus driver training program, or a comparable approved training program, and all local state requirements for a commercial driver’s license also required.&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Management &amp; Training Corporation (MTC) is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
