Our teams take pride in supporting customers and communities, creating meaningful work and rewarding careers every day. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Reporting to the Inventory Manager, the<strong> Inventory Control Associate </strong>is responsible for assisting with the maintenance of accurate inventory records, monitoring stock levels, and ensuring efficient warehouse operations on the 2nd shift from 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm. This role involves conducting inventory audits, identifying discrepancies, and collaborating with warehouse and procurement teams to optimize inventory control processes.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Starting pay is $18 - $24 per hour plus shift differential</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform regular cycle counts and inventory audits to ensure accuracy.</li>\n <li>Update, track and record inventory movements using the company's inventory management system.</li>\n <li>Generate reports on stock levels, discrepancies, and product movement.</li>\n <li>Investigate and resolve stock issues or discrepancies, reporting any inconsistencies to the Distribution Center Inventory Manager.</li>\n <li>Assist with product movements and all racking reconfigurations/labeling to accommodate the product movements as needed or directed by management.</li>\n <li>Process and ensure efficient handling of consolidated vendor returns.</li>\n <li>Contact manufacturers for authorization to return non-stock & overstock items.</li>\n <li>File defective goods claim with reps or manufacturers as required.</li>\n <li>Follow-up with vendors or reps on return goods authorizations or credits not received.</li>\n <li>Assist with troubleshooting and minor fixes of Exotec system.</li>\n <li>Assist with Cubiscan data and processes as directed.</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High School diploma or equivalent required</li>\n <li>1-3 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations or logistics</li>\n <li>Good communication and teamwork skills</li>\n <li>Strong attention to detail and the ability to problem solve</li>\n <li>Strong computer knowledge and skills</li>\n <li>Proficiency in relevant software and tools such as ERP systems, WMS, etc.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>About First Supply</u></strong></p>\n<p><strong>First Supply</strong>® is a leading main channel wholesale distributor, providing industrial customers and building contractors with an extensive line of products and services.
