Audit experience is required. Nonprofit experience is a plus. We are seeking someone with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"color: #2d2d2d; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px; font-weight: bold; text-decoration: underline\">Responsibilities:</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #2d2d2d; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #2d2d2d; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px\">Manage, understand, and assist with planning multiple audit assignments in Nonprofit, Benefits Plans, Governmental entities, and other industries.</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px\">Execute the day-to-day activities of audit engagements.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px\">Coordinate client engagements from start to finish, including overseeing the budget, planning, executing, directing staff, and completing financial statements.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px\">Prepare all necessary financial statements and related disclosures and management letters, with an eye on quality, thoroughness, and accuracy.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px\">Identify and communicate technical matters to both clients and firm management.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px\">Utilize proactive, effective communication with management, staff, and clients.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px\">Supervise, mentor, and train associates.</span><br><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"color: #2d2d2d; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px; font-weight: bold; text-decoration: underline\">Qualifications:</span></span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px\">A current CPA license with 5 plus years of experience in public accounting with increasing responsibility</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px\">Audit experience a must – Nonprofit experience a plus</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px\">Bachelor's degree (B.A.)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px\">Must possess technical knowledge related to performing financial and compliance audits</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px\">Supervisory experience preferred</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px\">Ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px\">Provides superior customer service</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px\">Must have excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, as well as project management and analytical skills</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px\">This role is based out of our Natomas, Sacramento area office.  A hybrid work schedule is offered after the training period.  </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px\">Benefits:</span></span></span><br></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px\">Gilbert CPA provides a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401K with company match, paid life insurance and long-term disability, generous paid time off, and ten days paid holiday.
