It is an unaccompanied position (no family accommodations or pets). Benefits of this unique location include free housing, three meals a day and potential for overseas tax incentives.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\"><strong><u>What You Will Do:</u></strong></span></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: -0.25in;\"><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Direct responsibility for both classified and unclassified range networks.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Provide tier II level troubleshooting of network systems.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Maintain network configuration baselines to adhere to policy, accreditation, and regulatory requirements.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Perform improvements in accordance with policy, accreditation and regulatory requirements.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Serve as the NetOps focal point for cybersecurity artifacts, ensuring STIG checklists and required compliance documentation remain current. Responsible for TACLANE encryptors operating within the range networks.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Perform preventive maintenance on all network devices.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Report network issues and maintain network configuration change log.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Audit and maintain active network documentation.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Maintain hardware inventories and ensures appropriate network device spares.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Perform and document periodic network performance testing.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Prepare reports, studies and research as requested.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Provide assistance to other team members as needed.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Perform other related duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\"><strong><u>Qualifications You Must Have</u></strong><strong>:</strong></span></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: -0.25in;\"><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Network Technology, Computer Science, or Information Systems Management or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Two (2) or more years of work experience designing, implementing, operating and troubleshooting Cisco based networks.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Security+ or equivalent DoD Directive 8570.07-M certification.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Demonstrated ability to implement, operate and troubleshoot Cisco network environments (i.e. switches, routers, firewalls, etc.).</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Demonstrated ability to implement, operate and troubleshoot Palo Alto Network firewalls.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Excellent English verbal and writing skills including report preparation.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Excellent customer interaction skills.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
