This role is responsible for verifying orders, preparing shipments, coordinating with carriers, and maintaining accurate documentation and system records.\n\nThe successful candidate is detail oriented, organized, and thrives in a fast paced manufacturing and warehouse environment. This role will be cross trained across both shipping and receiving functions to support operational flexibility and coverage.\n\nThis role is based in our Abbotsford location and this role is a fully onsite role.\n\n \nSchedule: \n Monday Friday \n7:00 AM 3:30 PM\n\nPay: $20 22/ Per Hour\n\n Requirements\n\n Verify customer orders, purchase orders, and outbound materials to ensure shipment accuracy.\n Prepare, package, label, and stage outbound shipments, including small parcel and palletized freight.\n Perform final packaging processes including sealing, wrapping, and palletizing shipments.\n Generate and verify shipping documentation including Bills of Lading (BOLs), packing slips, and shipment confirmations.\n Route shipments through carrier systems, coordinate pickups, and manage shipment dispatch schedules.\n Accurately finalize shipments within the ERP system and maintain complete records.\n Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and packaging equipment safely and effectively.\n Maintain organized shipping areas and support loading operations as required.\n Communicate shipment updates with production, purchasing, and warehouse teams.\n Cross train and provide operational support across both shipping and receiving functions as required.\n Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE.\n Support continuous improvement initiatives and perform other duties as assigned.\n Perform other duties as assigned to support operational needs.\n\n Education & Experience \n\n High School Diploma or equivalent required.\n Prior experience in shipping or warehouse operations, ideally within a manufacturing environment, is an asset.\n Experience operating forklifts and electric pallet jacks in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is an asset.\n Experience working with ERP or warehouse management systems is an asset.\n Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.\n Proficiency using computers, scanners, tablets, and warehouse systems.\n Strong communication and teamwork skills.\n Basic math, analytical, and problem solving abilities.\n Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.\n\n Benefits\n\n Dental care\n Employee assistance program\n Extended health care\n Life insurance\n On site parking\n Paid time off\n RRSP match\n Vision care\n Bonus Pay \n \n\n Our website: https://ca.bddiesel.com/\n\nSend your resume and be part of a team that is proud of its culture!\n\nWe greatly appreciate your interest as well as your application and will get back to you shortly after matching your skills to our requirements.
