Join our team of collaborative employee-owners who are self-motivated, independent workers willing to strategize and together work towards the long-term prosperity of the company.</p><p><strong>Job Summary/Objective:</strong>&nbsp;</p><p>The Quality Control Technician &ndash; Spectral, performs appropriate tests and measurements on raw materials, in process work, and optical filters to ensure quality standards are consistently met.</p><p><strong>Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions:</strong></p><ul><li>Perform QC tests/inspections as identified on the job traveler. These regularly include:<ul><li>Spectral analysis</li><li>Pinhole checks</li><li>Surface quality inspections including scratch/dig</li><li>Light leaks</li><li>Surface flatness measurements</li></ul></li><li>Accept and reject product based on test results as compared to product specifications</li><li>Perform MRB dispositions for nonconforming product</li><li>Provide quality documentation as per customer requirements, including first article certificate analysis and certificate of compliance</li><li>Perform verification and calibration of inspection measuring test equipment, as assigned</li><li>Work cooperatively with Manufacturing Process Developers to resolve issues related to Chroma internal job instructions</li><li>Identify and report quality problems or trends</li><li>Be organized when helping to solve problems, supporting project teams, or instituting goals</li></ul><p><strong>Required Education, Experience, and Eligibility Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to effectively utilize MS Office, email, and relevant G suite programs</li><li>General math knowledge</li><li>Ability to multitask</li><li>Ability to visually inspect raw materials, in process work and optical filters</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Education, Experience, and Eligibility Qualifications:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Experience with optics or quality control&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Compensation and Benefits</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Pay Range $21.63/hour - $24.75/hour</li><li>Employee Ownership</li><li>Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance</li><li>401K and Profit Sharing</li><li>80 Hours Sick/Personal Time and 80 Hours Vacation&nbsp;</li><li>Education Assistance and Wellness Reimbursement</li></ul><p><strong>Please note that the compensation offered to the selected candidate will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to experience, skills, education, and internal equity.
