All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or veteran status.</p>\n<p><strong>FEMALES ARE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY TO THIS FIELD BASED POSITION.</strong></p>\n<h2>Duties, Responsibilities & Other</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>This Construction Inspector position will provide assistance to experienced inspectors. </li>\n <li>Perform construction inspection and reporting of erosion and sediment control, concrete, earthwork, and asphalt pavement.</li>\n <li>Maryland MARTCP Concrete, HMA, Soils and Agg, MOT and MDE Erosion and Sediment Control certifications are a plus. </li>\n <li>Must prepare detailed and timely reports to document construction progress, inspection and testing results. </li>\n <li>Prepare necessary records and measure field quantities, conduct field tests and other tests that may be required to determine contractor’s compliance with contract specifications.</li>\n <li>Driver's license is required as a condition of employment. Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time.</em> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education and/or Skills Required: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience working in a construction related field. </li>\n <li>Highschool/GED</li>\n <li>Ability to understand construction plans, specifications, and procedures. </li>\n <li>Demonstrate basic math skills, including geometry and trigonometry. </li>\n <li>Possess the ability to read, write, and communicate fluently. </li>\n <li>Work effectively as a team member and complete daily reports by hand and computer. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Certificates, licenses, and/or Registrations Required: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Valid Driver’s License</li>\n <li>Ability to pass and maintain required certifications.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Pre-employment drug screening is a condition of employment. Background and motor vehicle checks may be required based upon position.</p>",
