Join us in the office three days a week to contribute, connect, and excel in our vibrant environment.</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Let's solve the big problems together.</strong>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Working with an energetic and high-performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Completion of <strong>Quality Assurance and Quality Control materials testing services on-site for various construction</strong> projects within Peterborough and the surrounding areas.</li>\n <li>Conducting compaction<strong> testing during site grading and backfilling operations, including sampling soil and aggregates for laboratory analysis.</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Concrete and asphalt sampling and testing for various building and infrastructure projects.&nbsp;</strong></li>\n <li>S<strong>upport field staff in investigative work including concrete coring, specialized testing, test pit investigations, and site data collection.</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>What you will bring to the team:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>P<strong>reference for enrollment in, or graduating from, a civil, geotechnical, or engineering program</strong>. Other relevant education and industry work experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis.</li>\n <li>2–10 years of experience in a related discipline.</li>\n <li>Strong interpersonal and customer service communication skills.</li>\n <li>The capacity and willingness to learn new skills and testing procedures.</li>\n <li><strong>Access to a personal vehicle and possess a valid driver’s license to carry out daily site inspections.&nbsp;</strong></li>\n <li>Competent with the use of <strong>Microsoft Office suite, particularly MS Word and MS Excel.</strong></li>\n <li>Ability to lift and carry 23.7 kg (50 lbs.)</li>\n <li><strong>Willingness to work a regular 40-hour work week and possible overtime up to a limit of 13 hours total per day.</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Willingness to travel up to 200 km per day using a personal vehicle.&nbsp;</strong></li>\n <li>Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.</li>\n <li><strong>Must hold a valid Work Authorization for the full term of the employment agreement.</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;Hourly compensation at market rates.</p>\n<p>&nbsp;<strong>The salary range for this position is: $23 - $30 per hour.</strong></p>\n<p>The posted salary range&nbsp;represents&nbsp;the expected hiring range for GHD locations in its major city&nbsp;centres. Ranges may vary for positions in other locations.
