    "description_html": "<p>&nbsp;Maintenance-Mechanical Engineer&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><h3>Job Summary/Objective</h3><p>Primary role is to provide maintenance / mechanical engineering technical expertise to plant Operations and Maintenance personnel on troubleshooting failures, repairs, getting equipment in functional condition and providing input to facility and equipment strategies.</p><p>&nbsp;<strong>Essential Functions</strong></p><p>· Serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in equipment failures and repair techniques during root cause investigations&nbsp;</p><p>· Works closely with Maintenance Technology champions (internal or external) so that the jobs have both technical and field experience during troubleshooting, procedures, repair plans, etc.&nbsp;</p><p>· Provides technical expertise to plant personnel on troubleshooting failures, repairs, and evaluating whether equipment is designed to meet its intended or existing service conditions.&nbsp;</p><p>· For equipment that is critical for the process, ensure that work requests include engineering input on repair details such as clearances, tolerances, materials of construction, welding procedures, etc. Provides onsite / offsite technical support for deviations from this data if necessary.&nbsp;</p><p>· Ensures repairs, repair techniques, and equipment-specific training are made available and documented.</p><p>· Provides technical support for specification, identification, and purchasing of required parts.</p><p>· Provides maintainability input into Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) strategy.&nbsp;</p><p>· Supports the PPM coordinator as required in reviewing spare parts list for existing equipment.&nbsp;</p><p>· Supports Operations in the development of operating procedures (i.e. proper steps for starting / stopping a pump, etc.).&nbsp;</p><p>· Reviews operations logbook for any unusual activity that they may need to support.&nbsp;</p><p>· Participates with Reliability Engineer in developing facility and equipment maintenance strategies.&nbsp;</p><p>· As required, provides engineering input to the Planners job plans and job packages to ensure standards are followed.&nbsp;</p><p>· Receives and reviews History Feedback form Crafts when unusual findings are noted.&nbsp;</p><p>· Serves as a technical resource for the planner and crafts as needed.&nbsp;</p><p>· During development of turnaround work, provides input on development of work orders particularly on critical equipment requiring Engineering review or input.&nbsp;</p><p>· Writes, supports the development of maintenance procedures.&nbsp;</p><p>· Works with the Maintenance Technology champions (internal or external) on following jobs internally and externally to ensure quality repairs.&nbsp;</p><p>· Supports training of Crafts, Operations, etc.</p><p><br></p><p>&nbsp;<strong>Key Competencies</strong></p><p>· Proven experience as an industrial mechanic or in a similar maintenance role within a manufacturing environment.</p><p>· Strong understanding of hydraulics, mechanical systems, and troubleshooting techniques.</p><p>· Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating effective communication skills.</p><p>· Previous field service experience is a plus but not required.&nbsp;</p><p>· A commitment to safety practices and procedures in all aspects of work.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p><p>· Experience in Chemical, Petroleum or Discrete Manufacturing<br><br><strong>Education</strong></p><p>· Bachelor’s degree in mechanical Engineer preferred</p><p>· Chemical, Electrical or Industrial Engineer is also considered with Maintenance experience</p><p>· 3+ years of Maintenance Process experience.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Pre-Employment:</strong></p><ul><li>Must successfully complete Atalco Gramercy’s required drug screening and &nbsp;physical examination.</li><li>TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) required prior to offer acceptance; MSHA (Mine Safety and Health Administration) training to be completed upon hire.</li></ul><p><strong>Language Skills</strong></p><p>· Ability to read, analyze and interpret information. Ability to write reports and basics business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups, managers, clients, customers, and the general public.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Physical Demands</strong></p><p>· The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
