Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Providing technical measurement support for construction activities, structural, mechanical and piping manufacturing at Quonset Point</li>\n <li>Performing 3-dimensional surveys, processing the data within a graphical analysis software package and develop analysis reports to identify specific measurement points relative to drawing specifications</li>\n <li>Ability to learn new instrumentation and software associated with 3-dimensional measuring as new technologies emerge</li>\n <li>Collection of high precision datasets via laser tracker, industrial photogrammetry, and various CMM / scanning technologies</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Click this link to learn more:</p>\n<p><strong><em>https://youtu.be/oirjeZxpF50</em></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>This is position is located at the Quonset Point facility in North Kingstown, RI. </strong></p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Required:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or equivalent</li>\n <li>Must meet <u>one</u> of the following criteria:</li>\n <ul>\n  <li>Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Civil, Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechatronics or Robotics Engineering</li>\n  <li>1+ year of work experience using 3-dimensional measurement equipment (Total Stations, photogrammetry, laser tracker, laser scanner, CMM) or Robotic programming</li>\n </ul>\n <li>Strong math background including strong knowledge of geometry and trigonometry</li>\n <li>Able to read and interpret blueprints, Geometric Tolerance (GD&T), specifications and procedures</li>\n <li>Willing to support occasional travel to vendor sites</li>\n <li>Able to obtain and maintain a security clearance through the Department of Defense</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Preferred:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor of Science degree in Surveying Technology or Engineering Technology</li>\n <li>Experience in Metrology or land surveying</li>\n <li>Experience with computer aided drafting (CAD) or a graphical analysis software package such as Spatial Analyzer</li>\n <li>Relevant Navy/Military experience </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Skills</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong mathematical, oral and written communication, computer and interpersonal skills</li>\n <li>Ability to work in a collaborative and team environment to meet organizational goals</li>\n <li>Independent thinking and problem solving abilities   </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Physical Qualifications</h2>Climbing, Color Vision, Crawling, Kneeling, Light Lifting, Medium Lifting, Pulling, Pushing, Reaching, Stooping, Twisting\n<h2>Environmental Attributes</h2>Cold, Dry, Dusty, Fumes, Hot, Inside, Noise, Oily, Outside",
