A Brief Overview The Workers Compensation Pricing Analyst is responsible for evaluating or assessing the business submitted by identifying, selecting and assessing risk to determine adequate pricing. What you will do • Perform detailed analysis of legal entity which includes identifying exposures, completing a loss analysis, assigning workers compensation classification codes and determining appropriate workers compensation pricing within provided authority levels. • Establish and maintain disciplined approach to review and manage the risk with the ultimate objective to approve profitable business. • Develop effective relationships with TriNet colleagues in order to be able to collaborate throughout the WC review process • Present workers compensation business for approval by the worker’s compensation insurance carrier that falls under submission guidelines to the Lead WC Pricing Analyst • Provide consultative advice to management on WC Pricing guidelines, pricing standards and procedures. • Performs other duties as assigned • Complies with all policies and standards Education Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required Experience Qualifications • Typically 2+ years of experience underwriting workers compensation required • experience utilizing Salesforce or similar platform preferred • experience with the Professional Employer Organization business model preferred Skills and Abilities • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to communicate with employees at all levels of the organization • Strong knowledge and understanding of workers compensation pricing/rating • Excellent interpersonal skills • Ability to build consensus between Sales and WC Pricing Team. • A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, constantly-evolving business and work environment while prioritizing multiple priorities • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Licenses and Certifications • AINS or AU preferred Travel Requirements Minimal Work Environment • Work in clean, pleasant, and comfortable office or home setting. The preferred location for this role is Atlanta, GA, and the salary range for this location is $63,600.00 to $108,100.00. The candidate’s final salary offer will be based on the candidate’s skills, education, work location and experience.
