You will work with experts who innovate collaboratively, creating an environment of teamwork and trustworthiness.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold; text-decoration: underline\">Overview</span></p>\n<p>Nomad Digital has an exciting opportunity for a<span> </span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Project Engineer</span><span> </span>to join our Engineering team based in<span> <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Paris, France.</span> </span>Working closely with the Project Manager and Engineering Manager, you will coordinate the technical delivery of projects, from solution design and documentation through to implementation, testing, deployment, and troubleshooting. You will work collaboratively with internal teams and engage with clients where required, ensuring successful project outcomes.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>The role requires strong knowledge of IP networking, wireless technologies, and Linux platforms, along with at least three years of hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting network devices such as switches, routers, and access points. Experience with satellite communications is an advantage.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Occasional extended international travel may be required for certain projects.</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</span><br></p>\n<p>• Work in a team with the Project Manager to coordinate internal teams and ensure all deliverables are completed within the specified timescales.<br>• Client interaction to determine requirements, agree on solutions, review documentation, agree on test plans, and present results.<br>• High-level design from the bid technical proposal; finalise design during the project phase.<br>• Create project documents in line with requirements and planning:<br>o Documenting the design, including synoptics.<br>o Integration documents in case third-party solutions have to be integrated.<br>o Test specifications.<br>o Configuration, training, and installation manuals.<br>o Documents for handover to operations.<br>• Responsible for defining and reviewing configuration to match the design objectives, with the support of the internal team.<br>• Responsible for troubleshooting in case of issues, both through own investigation and by coordinating with other internal teams or manufacturers.
