As we continue to grow, we are seeking skilled and motivated individuals to join our team.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Role:</span> This role involves hands-on work on commercial and municipal projects including fire departments, schools, warehouses, and mechanical facilities.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Daily Duties &amp; Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Install a wide range of commercial flooring materials in accordance with manufacturer specifications and project requirements</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Measure, cut, and fit flooring materials with precision</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Prepare subfloors, including cleaning, leveling, and moisture mitigation as needed</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Perform surface preparation such as skim coating and self-leveling</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Install and finish cove base and transitions</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Communicate effectively with supervisors, project managers, and team members</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Ensure all work meets quality standards and project timelines</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Required Skills &amp; Experience:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Candidates should have demonstrated experience in one or more of the following:</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Carpet tile installation</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">VCT (Vinyl Composition Tile)</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">LVT (Luxury Vinyl Tile)</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Glue-down carpet</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Vinyl plank flooring</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Sheet vinyl installation</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Skim coating</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Self-leveling underlayment</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Cove base installation</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">OSHA 40 certification</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">2 years’ experience installing commercial flooring</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Preferred Skills &amp; Experience:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Proven experience in commercial flooring installation</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints or floor plans</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Ability to work independently and as part of a team</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Reliable transportation to various job sites</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Ability to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding environments</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Physical Demands &amp; Setting:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Physically demanding work (lifting, kneeling, standing for extended periods)</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Early start times and occasional extended hours</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Work to be performed at various job sites, primarily throughout Long Island, with occasional assignments in the five boroughs of New York City or the Hudson Valley region. Travel between sites is required.</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Fast-paced, production-driven workflow.
