This leader ensures accurate documentation, charge capture, coding alignment, and compliant billing to optimize reimbursement, reduce denials, and support excellent patient financial experience.</p><p><br></p><p><u><strong>Demonstrates Competency in the Following Areas:</strong></u></p><p>Provide leadership across Patient Access, Business Office, and Revenue Integrity.</p><p>Develop goals, KPIs, and operational plans to support financial objectives.</p><p>Identify revenue leakage and compliance risks and implement corrective actions.</p><p>Lea Ensure accurate and complete charge capture and documentation.</p><p>Oversee chargemaster maintenance and auditing.</p><p>Monitor underbilling, overbilling, and missed charges.</p><p>Review new services and supplies for proper charge structure.</p><p>Collaborate with HIM/Coding and clinical teams to ensure compliance.</p><p>Implement standardized charge capture processes with reconciliation.</p><p>Ensure coding accuracy and compliance with CMS, Medicaid, Medicare, and payers.</p><p>Conduct audits and provide documentation education.</p><p>Maintain charging system integrity in partnership with IT/IS.</p><p>Oversee preregistration, registration, verification, authorization, and POS collections.</p><p>Monitor accuracy, wait times, and financial counseling processes.</p><p>Resolve issues impacting downstream billing.</p><p>Lead billing, claims submission, payment posting, AR follow-up, and collections.</p><p>Ensure timely and accurate claims to reduce denials.</p><p>Manage appeals and monitor payer trends.</p><p>Optimize AR days, reimbursement, and bad debt processes.</p><p>Analyze denial trends and reimbursement variances.</p><p>Manage RAC, MAC, and commercial audits.</p><p>Partner with PFS on appeals and corrective action plans.</p><p>Develop financial analysis dashboards and reporting tools for leadership.</p><p>Partner with HIM, Coding, Case Management, Clinical Leaders, Finance, and Compliance.</p><p>Educate clinical and operational teams on documentation and reimbursement.</p><p>Serve as a liaison with IT/IS, vendors, and auditors.</p><p>Recruit, train, and evaluate staff across revenue cycle teams.</p><p>Promote accountability, integrity, and continuous improvement.</p><p>Support cross-training and staff engagement.</p>",
