They lead us to what matters most to our company: <em>creating a warm, caring, safe and professional environment for our customers and each other.</em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Our culture of impassioned service delivery is the <em>Diversicare Difference</em>.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>#RN123</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<li>Administers prescribed medications, orally and by injections.</li>\n<li>Provides treatments to residents per physician orders.</li>\n<li>Observes residents reactions to medications and treatments.</li>\n<li>Ensures proper handling and storage of medications and controlled substances.</li>\n<li>Observes, records and reports all services provided.</li>\n<li>Change in resident’s condition will be reported to supervisor and attending physician.</li>\n<li>Signs off that medication and treatments were given/provided, as required by policy. </li>\n<li> Maintains resident’s medical record by way of documentation, as required by policy.</li>\n<li>Provides education to residents and families regarding care.</li>\n<li>Assists in planning, supervising and instructing C.N.T.’s; assigns daily work assignments to ensure positive outcomes for residents.</li>\n<li>Implements and maintains policies and procedures.</li>\n<li>Ensures that safe work practices are utilized.</li>\n<li>Ensures proper infection control techniques are utilized.</li>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<li>Has a current license by the State Board of Nursing, as an R.N. or L.P.N.</li>\n<li>Must have the ability to lead and motivate subordinates.</li>\n<li>Ability to perform a variety of duties characterized by frequent change, as work schedule will change on a daily basis.</li>\n<li>Able to work intimately with residents, physicians, and staff.</li>\n<li>Capable of working to prescribe nursing standards.</li>\n<li>Good interpersonal and communication skills; has an interest to perform a service.</li>\n<p>(EOE)</p>",
