Our diverse workforce and perspectives strengthen our ability to deliver safe, innovative construction solutions.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Position Summary</strong></p>\n<p>This role provides senior leadership and has direct responsibility for safety, financial, customer, and operational goals for assigned business units.</p>\n<p>Reports to the Vice President of Operations and supports the development of the strategic direction of the assigned business units within the Power division.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Establish and manage goals and objectives for executing projects and utility program work</li>\n <li>Ensure proper utilization of personnel and equipment</li>\n <li>Delegate functional activities, establish supervisory responsibilities, and manage leadership cadence</li>\n <li>Host regular meetings with business unit leadership and staff to communicate goals and performance</li>\n <li>Participate in proposal development, contract negotiations, and alliance meetings</li>\n <li>Evaluate bids for conformity with contract requirements and specifications</li>\n <li>Assist in developing performance and labor strategies to compete in new and existing markets</li>\n <li>Partner with field leadership and labor relations on labor negotiations and grievance management</li>\n <li>Prepare project status reports and provide regular updates to senior management</li>\n <li>Ensure compliance with company, customer, and project policies, procedures, and safety programs</li>\n <li>Provide input and direction to planning, scheduling, and engineering functions</li>\n <li>Assess competency and development needs of direct reports; mentor future leaders</li>\n <li>Perform annual performance evaluations and initiate disciplinary action as required</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Safety Leadership</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Actively demonstrate that <strong>safety is Henkels & McCoy’s number one value</strong></li>\n <li>Communicate safety goals and expectations to line‑of‑business leadership and operational personnel</li>\n <li>Ensure employee and customer-required qualifications and certifications are current</li>\n <li>Assist with development and execution of Line of Business Safety Action Plans</li>\n <li>Ensure safety is fully integrated into daily operations and best practices are shared</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Business Development & Market Growth</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead business development and sales activities in partnership with company leadership</li>\n <li>Identify market demand for Henkels & McCoy services and drive growth opportunities</li>\n <li>Manage and expand relationships with existing customers and strategic partners</li>\n <li>Support company business development initiatives and pursuits</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Financial & P&L Accountability</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensure achievement and accuracy of financial forecasts and P&L expectations</li>\n <li>Participate in equipment planning, budgeting, and asset disposition</li>\n <li>Oversee financial forecasting, business plans, and quarterly/annual review reporting</li>\n <li>Manage performance against established operating plans and budgets</li>\n <li>Negotiate change orders and manage escalated billing or invoicing issues</li>\n <li>Ensure accuracy of financial reporting for assigned operations</li>\n <li>Participate in claims management alongside safety and claims teams</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Proven experience launching major power overhead distribution MSAs</li>\n <li>Experience with Tech Services, underground (UG), and overhead (OH) distribution strongly preferred</li>\n <li>Strong East Coast utility construction market knowledge</li>\n <li>15+ years of utility construction and program management experience</li>\n <li>10+ years in an operations or senior management role</li>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred (or equivalent experience)</li>\n <li>Demonstrated history of winning work, executing projects, and delivering profitability</li>\n <li>Proven record of strong safety performance</li>\n <li>Exceptional relationship‑building and cross‑functional leadership skills</li>\n <li>Experience managing resources within a matrixed organization</li>\n <li>Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills</li>\n <li>Certifications or advanced education in Construction Management, Contracts, or Project Management preferred</li>\n <li>Ability to travel up to 20%</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Location</strong></p>\n<p>Blue Bell, PA</p>\n<p><strong>Henkels & McCoy, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer of Minorities, Females, Protected Veterans, and Individuals with Disabilities.</strong></p>",
