    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Why Hologic:</strong></p>\n<p><span>You will have the opportunity to get in on the ground floor at a high growth world class manufacturing facility working on life-saving medical devices with potential for future growth.&nbsp; This is a great opportunity to enhance your manufacturing operation skills and knowledge to further your career.</span></p>\n<p><strong>What we expect:</strong></p>\n<p>Manufacturing Engineering is seeking a candidate who would be responsible for providing engineering support services including evaluation, purchase, installation, and qualification of new manufacturing equipment and sustainment of existing equipment and processes. This work will include managing external vendors and meeting with internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and to specification</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Leading large CapEx automation projects from user requirements to equipment being placed into production</li>\n <li>Able to identify and execute on lean manufacturing initiatives</li>\n <li>Capable of performing RCAs for equipment failures as well as developing equipment level FMEAs</li>\n <li>Proficient understanding of technical drawings (electrical, mechanical, pneumatic) and GD&amp;T</li>\n <li>Proficient with CAD software such as Solidworks</li>\n <li>Basic understanding of PLC programming</li>\n <li>Experience with Vision systems such as Cognex or Keyence&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Able to provide engineering support for troubleshooting, modifying equipment and processes&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Supports equipment mechanics, technicians and manufacturing leads</li>\n <li>Create and/or modifies equipment maintenance procedures</li>\n <li>Writing and reviewing operating procedures, documents and reports</li>\n <li>Performs equipment, process and product performance testing</li>\n <li>Support equipment Installation, Operation, and Performance Qualification Validations</li>\n <li>Reviews and approves calibration datasheets, work orders, PM’s and change controls</li>\n <li>Perform process transfers from Engineering to Manufacturing including processes and equipment training</li>\n <li>Manage qualifying and changes in raw materials, vendors and perform investigations for non-conformance events</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>What we expect:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Working knowledge of microprocessor controls, utility distribution systems and process engineering</li>\n <li>Basic knowledge of manufacturing automation systems and best design practice</li>\n <li>Knowledge of CGMPs, ISO 13485 and FDA 21 CFR 820</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of Windows based programs</li>\n <li>SolidWorks or Pro/E (3D modeling knowledge)&nbsp;</li>\n <li>MS Office and MS Project</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Education &amp; Experience:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>BA or BS degree (Mechanical Engineering preferred)</li>\n <li>LEAN &amp; Six Sigma certification preferred but not required</li>\n <li>Minimum 3-5 years of related industry experience</li>\n</ul>\n<p>The annualized base salary range for this role is $97,500 to $152,000 and is bonus eligible.
