With competitive pay and benefits, safe and stable work and an energetic, team focused work environment, <strong>National Beef could become your next career move! </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Competitive Wages and Benefits:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Family-friendly benefits including Health, Dental, Vision, and Prescription</li>\n <li>Company paid disability and life insurance</li>\n <li>Paid vacation</li>\n <li>401 (k) with Company match</li>\n <li>Employee meat purchase program</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Industrial Nurse responsibilities include but are not limited to:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This position is responsible for providing first aid and emergency care for occupational injuries and illness, drug screens and record-keeping and documentation of visits to health services.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Essential Functions:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provides first aid and medical treatment as needed and provides initial assessment of on the job injuries and illnesses and refers for further evaluation as necessary</li>\n <li>Conducts pre-employment physicals including fitness for duty examinations, workers compensation checks and drug screens</li>\n <li>Maintains employee health records and prepares accident reports</li>\n <li>Communicate safety concerns to appropriate managers</li>\n <li>Assist company medical provider during weekly clinic hours</li>\n <li>Maintains first-aid kits, and orders medical supplies as needed</li>\n <li>Maintains and safeguards confidentiality of employee health information and health records</li>\n <li>Conducts workplace assessments with regard to health issues and exposure follow-up</li>\n <li>Assists with implementation of health promotion strategies including group and individual health education activities</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<p>This is an on-site position.  This is a safety sensitive position.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Qualified candidates for the Industrial Nurse position should possess the following:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Current license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Registered Nurse (LPN or RN) in the state of Kansas</li>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred but not required</li>\n <li>Experience in occupational health or emergency nursing preferred</li>\n <li>Knowledge of case management, workers’ compensation and OSHA regulations helpful but not required</li>\n <li>Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communications skills and ability to deal effectively with a variety of people and situations</li>\n <li>Ability to handle confidential information with great sensitivity</li>\n <li>Ability to work with limited supervision and high motivation</li>\n <li>Ability to work well under pressure, meeting multiple and sometimes conflicting deadlines</li>\n <li>Strong computer skills (MS Word, MS Excel and HRIS system)</li>\n <li>Bilingual English/Spanish beneficial but not required</li>\n <li>Available to work a flexible schedule</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Must be at least 18 years of age or older.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship at this time.</p>\n<h2>Company Overview</h2>\n<p>National Beef is a leader in producing fresh, chilled and further processed beef products for customers in the U.S. and worldwide.
