With supportive leadership, collaborative teams, and opportunities to grow, GUARD is a place where people build meaningful, long‑term careers. \n<strong>Good Things You Can Count On.</strong>\n<ul>\n <li>Predictable hours (no nights, weekends, or holidays)</li>\n <li>Competitive pay + generous PTO</li>\n <li>Medical, dental & vision starting day one</li>\n <li>401(k), tuition reimbursement & longevity bonuses</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>What you’ll do</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Own and manage the Massachusetts territory by developing agency relationships and growing commercial P&C business.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>You will spend most of your time in the field—meeting with agency partners, increasing submission activity, and building a book of business aligned with underwriting guidelines.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>How You’ll Make an Impact</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Increase written premium by expanding submission activity from agency partners</li>\n <li>Build and maintain agency relationships through regular in-person meetings</li>\n <li>Review agency performance and adjust territory approach based on results</li>\n <li>Work with underwriting and distribution leadership to align on guidelines, pricing, and growth plans</li>\n <li>Use data (agency performance, market trends, competitor activity) to determine where to focus time and effort</li>\n <li>Follow a consistent sales process, tracking activity, pipeline, and results</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>What You'll Bring</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>3+ years of experience in territory management, production underwriting, or broker distribution</li>\n <li>Experience growing a book of business through agency relationships</li>\n <li>Knowledge of commercial P&C (Workers’ Comp, BOP, Auto, Umbrella)</li>\n <li>Familiarity with the Massachusetts market and agency environment</li>\n <li>Experience using data and metrics to inform decisions</li>\n <li>Clear and effective communication with agency partners and internal teams</li>\n <li>Strong organizational skills and independent problem-solving in complex situations</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>What to Expect</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High travel role with regular in-person agency visits</li>\n <li>Responsibility for managing territory approach and results</li>\n <li>Regular coordination with underwriting, distribution, and leadership teams</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Tools & Extras</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Excel required; Power BI a plus</li>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>This position is subject to background screening, which may include drug testing and motor vehicle record review for roles involving driving. </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Salary Range</strong></p>\n<p><strong>$105,000-$130,000 USD + performance-based bonus potential and use of a company car</strong></p>\n<p><strong>In accordance with applicable pay transparency laws, this range represents a good‐faith estimate. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, credentials, geographic location, and other considerations permitted by law.</strong></p>",
