Our work in the transport and energy sectors is driven by our commitment to helping clients contribute to and thrive within the evolving regulatory landscape of decarbonisation and sustainable mobility. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>With the support of a Partner, the Consultant will play a crucial role in consolidating and growing our Transport &amp; Energy Practice. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Role and responsibilities:</span> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead the development and implementation of public affairs and communication strategies for our clients in the transport and energy sectors. </li>\n<li>Provide strategic advice to clients on complex issues related to transport and energy policies, EU regulations, advocacy and thought leadership campaigns. </li>\n<li>Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including EU officials from DG MOVE and DG CLIMA , MEPs in relevant committees and their staff, Council working parties notably on Environment and Land Transport and industry players. </li>\n<li>Help develop and implement a new business plan for the Transport &amp; Energy Practice, including by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and building relationships with potential clients. </li>\n<li>Represent the company in public policy discussions and meetings. </li>\n<li>Take on the role of account manager for NOVE’s transport clients.</li>\n<li>Ensure the delivery of high-quality services to our clients. </li>\n<li>Contribute to the overall management and decision-making of the company. </li>\n<li>Work closely with colleagues across NOVE's Practices to ensure a coordinated and integrated approach to client service. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications and skills:</span> </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Between 2 and 5 years of professional experience in EU policy and public affairs. Experience within the European Parliament or other EU institutions is preferred. </li>\n<li>A solid understanding of EU decision-making processes, especially the ordinary legislative procedure and trilogue negotiations, and the existence of a strong institutional network. </li>\n<li>In-depth understanding of EU policy on mobility decarbonisation, transport regulation, EU energy policy, and the green transition. </li>\n<li>Demonstrated knowledge of key legislative files, including: \n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Mobility decarbonisation:</span> CO2​ standards for LDV and HDV, Clean Corporate Vehicles, AFIR Eurovignette, Euro 7, EU ETS 1 and 2, FuelEU Maritime and ReFuelEU Aviation</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Transport:</span> MDMS, Single digital booking and Ticketing, Multimodal passenger rights, Market access for bus and coach (Regulation 1073) </li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Proven ability to develop and implement successful public affairs and communication strategies in the transport and energy sectors. </li>\n<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels. </li>\n<li>Client-oriented mindset, with an ability to think strategically and creatively. </li>\n<li>Advocacy-oriented mindset towards the EU institutions notably DG CLIMA, DG MOVE, TRAN, ITRE and ENVI committees and Council working parties on environment and land transport</li>\n<li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. </li>\n<li>Perfect command of English; additional languages considered an asset. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Why you should be interested in this role:</span> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>By joining NOVE, you will:  </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Join a dynamically growing public affairs and communications agency and benefit from the flexible and collegial atmosphere to grow your experience in a fast-paced, high-learning curve environment. </li>\n<li>Work on exciting projects in one of the policy areas of focus of the moment. </li>\n<li>Get exposure at senior levels across the corporate client base of NOVE and help drive further business growth of the agency. </li>\n<li>We offer a competitive financial package, a dynamic and collaborative work environment, and opportunities for growth and advancement. </li>\n</ul>",
