With an automation-first mindset and a focus on AI-driven operations, you'll help reduce toil and technical debt while strengthening business continuity through backup and disaster recovery strategy. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer who thrives in collaborative environments and enjoys elevating team capability through guidance and innovation.</p>\n<h2>Your Role Responsibilities – Here's What You'll Do</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Design, build, and implement robust infrastructure solutions aligned with business needs, security best practices, and organizational standards</li>\n <li>Identify, prioritize, and implement automation for resource deployment, compute and storage allocation, and optimize the delivery of key infrastructure services</li>\n <li>Design and implement backup and disaster recovery solutions; participate in testing and execution of recovery plans to ensure business continuity</li>\n <li>Troubleshoot and resolve escalated issues and outages; perform root-cause and post-mortem analyses, leveraging AI and automation to drive process improvements and efficiency</li>\n <li>Document the design, operation, procedures, and troubleshooting of implemented solutions; compose training materials and conduct training sessions with stakeholders</li>\n <li>Perform regular process reviews and provide guidance for audits of server infrastructure to validate compliance with enterprise security policies and system hardening standards</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Role Essentials – What You'll Need</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Bachelor's degree or 7+ years of relevant experience in information technology</strong></li>\n <li>Experience with <strong>Hypervisor and Virtualization Platforms</strong></li>\n <li>Proficiency with <strong>Windows and Linux</strong> server operating systems</li>\n <li>Task automation and scripting experience with <strong>PowerShell and/or Ansible</strong></li>\n <li>Proven experience designing, implementing, and securing enterprise-level cloud environments in <strong>Azure and AWS</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What We'd Like to See – Preferred Skills</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience as a <strong>Systems Engineer or Architect</strong></li>\n <li>Fundamental understanding of <strong>networking principles</strong></li>\n <li>Experience with <strong>AI-driven operations</strong> and automation strategies to reduce technical debt</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to serve as a <strong>level 3 escalation point</strong> for complex infrastructure incidents</li>\n <li>Experience <strong>mentoring and training</strong> team members on infrastructure best practices and operational standards</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>About Hyland</h2>\n<p>Hyland is the pioneer of the Content Innovation Cloud™, delivering ubiquitous enterprise intelligence to organizations with solutions that unlock actionable insights and drive automation. © Hyland.
