    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/23.6.28/styles/froala_editor.pkgd.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\">&nbsp;<link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/23.6.28/styles/froala_style.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 24px;\">Art Teacher - Hope Learning Academy Springfield, IL&nbsp;<br></span><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Pay Range = $48,000-$74,000 annually (based on experience)</span><span style=\"font-size: 24px;\"><br><br></span></strong><p>The Art Teacher creates and implements Art Program sessions at Hope Learning Academy based on goals outlined in the student&rsquo;s Individualized Education Plan (IEP) or by the classroom teacher.</p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Essential Duties:</strong></p><ul><li>Conduct baseline Art Program session to determine student&rsquo;s current level of functioning in the Art setting.</li><li>Design an Art program based on current cognitive, social, emotional, communications, and motor goals.</li><li>Implement targeted programs/activities in weekly sessions, either in group or individual settings.</li><li>Provide students with an enjoyable Art experience in the classroom which allows the opportunity for group as well as individual participation in the areas of creativity, use of materials, multi-media experiences, etc.</li><li>Record student&rsquo;s or class&rsquo;s progress after each session, including goals addressed, session plan, comments, and thoughts/ideas for next session.</li><li>Provide Art resources for classroom teachers as necessary, including requested projects, lesson plans, and materials by subject areas (animals, seasons, holidays, etc.).</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></p><ul data-pasted=\"true\"><li><p>Bachelor&#39;s degree in Art Education</p></li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li><p>LBS1 certified</p></li><li><p>Teaching certificate</p></li><li><p>Experience working with children with developmental disabilities.&nbsp;</p></li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Who We Are</strong></p><p><strong>Hope</strong> is a clinical, educational, and therapeutic provider for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorder.
