Join us in making a real difference in the health of our community.</em></p>\n<h2>Job Summary</h2>\n<p>We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Dermatology Nurse Practitioner (NP) or to join our team delivering dermatologic care to residents in long-term care and skilled nursing facilities.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>• Provide on-site dermatology consults including: o Initial assessments for skin conditions such as dermatitis, psoriasis, rashes, infections, and suspicious lesions o Routine follow-up visits for chronic skin conditions and wound monitoring</p>\n<p>• Conduct comprehensive evaluations: o Gather medical histories and perform dermatologic examinations o Order and interpret skin biopsies, and laboratory tests when appropriate</p>\n<p>• Diagnose and manage dermatologic conditions including infections, inflammatory disorders, pressure-related skin changes, and skin cancers</p>\n<p>• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and dermatologists to develop treatment plans</p>\n<p>• Perform minor procedures such as biopsies, cryotherapy, lesion removal, and wound-related skin treatments when appropriate</p>\n<p>• Educate patients and caregivers on skincare, infection prevention, and treatment plans</p>\n<p>• Ensure accurate EMR documentation and regulatory compliance</p>\n<p>• Participate in quality initiatives aimed at improving skin integrity and reducing complications in SNFs</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>•Minimum of 6 months of experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility (Hospital/outpatient office experience will also be considered)</p>\n<p> • Active and unrestricted NP license • DEA license required • CPR certification (BCLS/BLS) </p>\n<p>• Master’s degree in Nursing (NP applicants) </p>\n<p>• Graduation from an accredited NP program </p>\n<p>• Preferred: Experience in Dermatology (training available if not) </p>\n<p>• Preferred: Familiarity with EMR systems (e.g., Sigma, Visual, PCC – training provided) </p>\n<p>• Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills</p>\n<h2>Equal Opportunity Employer</h2>\n<p><strong><em>Essen Health care is proud to be an equal opportunity employer, and we seek candidates who desire to work in and serve an ethnically diverse population.</em></strong></p>",
