This will largely involve the SS&amp;C</span></li><li><span>Algorithmics data mapping tool and definition of data required from the client’s systems.</span></li><li><span>Where appropriate deliver training via formal training courses and workshop sessions internally and to clients.</span></li><li><span>Deliver product overviews and lead discussions in client pre-sales, develop pilot and proof of concept solutions.</span></li><li><span>Conduct research, data collection and analysis to prepare, present and deliver recommendations and solutions to clients.</span></li><li><span>Use a range of methodologies, assets and work products to produce deliverables.</span></li><li><span>Create and use intellectual capital to solve diverse, business issues in innovative ways.</span></li><li><span>Understand technology to offer clients&#39; recommendations and solutions that meet their business and IT needs as appropriate.</span></li><li><span>Participate in the delivery and implementation of solutions for clients.</span></li><li><span>Work with various SS&amp;C stakeholders including product owners, development teams and testers to deliver robust solutions.</span></li><li><span>To help troubleshoot errors, performance issues, and license problems encountered by customers during implementation.</span></li><li><span>Given this is a senior role, in addition to implementation work, the senior integration engineer will be expected to support potential pre-sales activities:</span></li></ul><ul><li>Serve as a trusted advisor for prospective clients during the pre-sales phase.</li><li>Participate in client discovery sessions to gather high-level requirements and understand business challenges.</li><li>Contribute to the development of proposals, RFP responses, and Statements of Work (SOWs)</li><li>Present proposed solutions and delivery approaches in a clear and compelling way to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align solutions with client expectations and organizational capabilities.</li><li>Identify potential risks, delivery challenges, or scope limitations early in the sales process.</li><li>Support strategic account planning and help identify upsell or cross-sell opportunities.</li></ul><p></p><p><b><u>What You Will Bring:</u></b></p><ul><li><span>Degree (preferably numerate/technical) or equivalent</span></li><li><span>5&#43; years of working experience</span></li><li><span>Native in Japanese language and </span><span>Fluent in English</span></li><li><span>Good hands-on use of Linux</span></li><li><span>Strong scripting experience with shell</span></li><li><span>Strong programming experience with at least one language (Python, Perl, Java or similar)</span></li><li><span>Familiarity with database essentials (SQL, installation, sizing, performance) Experienced DBA skills not essential, but familiarity with using one current RDBMS is preferred.</span></li><li><span>Ability to address and use initiative to deliver solutions to technical and business problems.</span></li><li><span>Ability and desire to adapt, learn and explore new technologies.</span></li><li><span>High degree of initiative and learning to work with complex software products with minimal supervision.</span></li><li><span>Capacity to estimate, manage own work, and keep within plan.</span></li><li><span>Strong communication skills and presentation skills in client-facing environments.</span></li><li>High level of professionalism, confidence, and strategic thinking in pre-sales interactions.</li><li>Proven experience working on proposals, pitches, or strategic solutioning for clients.</li><li>Familiarity with enterprise sales cycles, particularly in the financial services industry, is a plus</li></ul><p></p><p><i>We encourage applications from people of all backgrounds to enable us to bring diverse perspectives to our thinking and conversation.
