The Assistant Nurse Manager functions as a daily board runner to integrate and streamline clinical activities of all members of the Perioperative Services team. The Assistant Nurse Manager of the Operating Room has knowledge of the ANA, AORN, Joint Commission and Department of Health Standards of practice, and Patient Bill of Rights, Coaches staff to promote professional growth, maximum productivity, and proficiency.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey. Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is preferred. BLS required. Must maintain valid certification by the American Heart Association in basic life support (BLS). Phlebotomy Certification or IV Certification is required. Proficiency in the English language is required. Two (2) years of progressively more responsible nursing experience, one (1) year of which shall have been in the service to which the candidate is applying.</p>",
