We invest in your growth, empower you with the latest technology, and provide clear pathways for advancement.</p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary:</strong> The Journeyman Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems with a primary focus on <strong>Batch Plants and Concrete Production Plants</strong> within heavy civil construction environments. This role requires specialized knowledge of electrical systems that support the continuous and reliable operation of <strong>ready-mix concrete, portable batch plants</strong>, and associated equipment. The electrician will work independently or as part of a team to ensure all systems meet safety, efficiency, and compliance standards. This position must be willing to travel across Western States including Utah, Arizona, Colorado, Nebraska, Wyoming, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Nevada. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Install and repair electrical systems in Batch Plants, Concrete Plants, and Aggregate Production Facilities, including wiring, motors, control systems, and electrical panels. </li>\n <li>Perform regular maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime at Concrete and Ready Mix Plants. </li>\n <li>Troubleshoot and diagnose issues specific to batching equipment, mixers, conveyors, water systems, and automation controls used in concrete production. </li>\n <li>Read and interpret complex electrical schematics and blueprints related to Concrete, Ready Mix, Batch Plants, and supporting infrastructure. </li>\n <li>Ensure all work complies with national and local electrical codes, safety regulations, and company standards. </li>\n <li>Collaborate with plant operations and maintenance teams to identify electrical needs and provide recommendations for improving plant performance and safety. </li>\n <li>Train and mentor apprentices or less experienced electricians, particularly in the specialized requirements of Concrete Batch and Ready Mix operations. </li>\n <li>Maintain a clean and safe work environment, especially around high-voltage equipment and heavy machinery. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Completion of an apprenticeship program and Journeyman Electrician certification. </li>\n <li>3+ years of electrical experience, preferably with a strong background in <strong>Concrete Plants, Portable Batch Plants</strong>, and Ready Mix operations. </li>\n <li>Proven ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems in high-production environments. </li>\n <li>Experience with automation, sensors, and control systems specific to batching and mixing processes. </li>\n <li>Familiarity with tools and equipment used in heavy civil and concrete plant maintenance. </li>\n <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. </li>\n <li>Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities. </li>\n <li>Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varied field conditions. </li>\n <li>Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. </li>\n <li>Willingness to travel across Western States including Utah, Arizona, Colorado, Nebraska, Wyoming, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Nevada. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to move up to 100 lbs. repetitively.</li>\n <li>Frequent bending, standing, lifting, climbing, and ongoing physical activity.</li>\n <li>Regular exposure to outdoor elements.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Why Work for WW Clyde?</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Competitive Compensation & Benefits:</strong> Health, dental, vision, life insurance, 6% 401(k) match, profit sharing, paid holidays, and PTO.</li>\n <li><strong>Performance-Based Bonus:</strong> Rewarding your dedication and project success.</li>\n <li><strong>Career Development:</strong> Ongoing training, mentorship, and clear advancement paths.</li>\n <li><strong>Stable, Respected Employer:</strong> Join a century‑strong leader in heavy civil construction.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em>*As part of our hiring process, <strong>all candidates are subject to a comprehensive background check</strong>.
