Have experience in automobile, mortgage, unsecured debt, and credit card portfolio accounts.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Key responsibilities for this position will be to collect&nbsp;</span><strong style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">late stage</strong> <strong style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">(90+ days past due)</strong> <strong style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">delinquent accounts</strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">&nbsp;on all delinquency accounts including charge</span><strong style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">&nbsp;</strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">off</span><strong style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">&nbsp;</strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">accounts.</span><strong style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">&nbsp;</strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Conduct skip tracing and submit accounts for repossession as required. Establish payment arrangements, provide credit counselling, set and enforce deadlines. Recommend and process loan extensions or workouts. Properly apply laws relating to debt collection, privacy and bankruptcy. Recognize internal process failures that may cause erroneous reporting of delinquency. Must be able to audit loans and explain calculations to co-workers and members. Able to support and have a high understanding of Deceased, Bankruptcy accounts along with Repossession submissions.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\"><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Responsible for compliance of all Federal and State rules and regulations pertaining but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, Bank Bribery Act, NCUA Privacy Regulations, FCRA/FACTA and Fair Debt Collections Act. Required to attend initial and ongoing annual Bank Secrecy Act training.&nbsp;</span></span></p><p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\"><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\">Candidates for EECU should possess the following knowledge and experience:&nbsp;</span></span></p><ul><li dir=\"auto\" style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\"><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">3 plus years collection experience in automobile, mortgage, or credit card portfolio; late-stage preferred.&nbsp;</span></li><li dir=\"auto\" style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\"><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Two years customer service experience&nbsp;</span></li><li dir=\"auto\" style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\"><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">High level of understanding with deceased, bankruptcy accounts and repossessions.&nbsp;</span></li><li dir=\"auto\" style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\"><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">In-depth knowledge of collection laws and general familiarity with bankruptcy laws.&nbsp;</span></li><li dir=\"auto\" style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\"><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Must understand Collateral Protection Insurance&nbsp;</span></li><li dir=\"auto\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Requires ability to effectively communicate, diffuse tension and calm members.&nbsp;</span></li><li dir=\"auto\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Requires the ability to effectively negotiate acceptable repayment arrangements.&nbsp;</span></li><li dir=\"auto\" style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 16px; font-weight: bold;\"><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\"><strong>Ability to work a flexible schedule Monday through Saturday (couple days a week Mon-Fri- the shift will be until 7pm, Saturdays are 9am-1pm)</strong></span></li><li dir=\"auto\"><span style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 16px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Bilingual (Spanish) speaking&nbsp;</span><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">preferred</span></li><li dir=\"auto\" style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\"><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">High School diploma or equivalent</span></li><li dir=\"auto\" style=\"font-family: tahoma, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;\"><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">EECU will, in compliance with applicable laws, evaluate an applicant&#39;s credit history.
