Our Job Corps programs at Equus Workforce Solutions power the nation's largest residential living initiative, changing the lives of thousands of young adults across the United States and Puerto Rico. More than just a training provider, we serve as a launchpad for possibility—equipping students with academic support, hands-on training, and nationally recognized credentials in today's most in-demand industries. Every role within Job Corps—whether in administration, instruction, or support services—contributes to building brighter futures and empowering young people to thrive in the workforce and beyond. Our programs go beyond the classroom, fostering social growth, building confidence, and preparing students to become engaged, empowered citizens. Fueled by strong community and industry partnerships, Job Corps is a place where every success story begins—and where lives are changed every day. Assess graduates' placement readiness and provide appropriate referrals and support services in accordance with DOL, Center, and Equus requirements. Conduct monthly follow-ups on graduates and former enrollees to provide ongoing placement services. Assist graduates with resume preparation, interview skills, and placement search strategies. Identify and make referrals to transitional support services necessary for successful placement and retention. Conduct weekly training workshops on career preparation topics and instruct Career Prep students. Document all placement services provided to graduates in case notes and verify placements with employers. Establish relationships with community colleges and other entities to ensure successful placements with good career pathway opportunities. Provide individualized services to Job Corps graduates and former enrollees during the prescribed service period. Develop and implement innovative strategies to increase graduate placement rates and job retention. Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless transition from training to employment for graduates. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of labor market trends and in-demand occupations to guide graduates effectively. Organize and participate in job fairs, both on-site and in the community, to connect graduates with potential employers. Monitor and report on placement outcomes, providing regular updates to management on progress towards goals. Assist in the development and implementation of alumni engagement programs to foster long-term success of graduates. Provide guidance on financial literacy and budgeting to help graduates manage their finances post-placement. Collaborate with local workforce development boards to align placement efforts with regional economic priorities. Other duties as assigned. Bachelor's degree in human services, psychology, counseling, education, social science, business, communications, or closely related field with two years of relevant experience. Experience working with young people aged 16-24, demonstrating leadership skills and excellent interpersonal abilities. Current certification under Puerto Rico Law 300 and a valid Puerto Rico Class 4 driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
