S/he will work closely with project managers and estimators, gaining valuable experience with the construction process. The successful intern must be able to work collaboratively with internal project team, external stakeholders, and union tradespeople as part of their daily job responsibilities. We have openings in Pawtucket, RI; Woburn, MA; and Waterbury, CT.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-weight: bold\">Internship Goals:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 14px\">To become familiarized with construction documentation tools such as Procore and Smart Sheets</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 14px\">Assembling submittals and RFI's</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 14px\">Assembling Operation and Maintenance Manuals</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 14px\">Performing Job-Site visits</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 14px\">Obtaining and processing of plans and spec for new bids</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 14px\">Inviting vendors/sub-contractors to view bid documents</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 14px\">Processing quotes and paperwork for bid</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 14px\">Creation and Maintenance of Project Schedules</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 14px\">Miscellaneous duties as required by Estimating &amp; Construction departments.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-weight: bold\">Qualifications:</span><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 14px\">Ability to work collaboratively with a team</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 14px\">Capable of maintaining deliverable dates</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 14px\">Strong attention to detail</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 14px\">Superior organizational skills</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 14px\">Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills to effectively communicate with employees, customers, vendors and subcontractors</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 14px\">Desire to pursue a career in construction/project management</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-weight: bold\">Minimum Requirements:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 14px\">Currently enrolled in an undergraduate college degree program (engineering, construction management or related field) with minimum junior standing</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Additional Information:</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Arden Building Companies is the holding company for Arden Engineering Constructors, Corporate Mechanical of New England, Earthwise Energy Technologies, MJ Daly, and Unique Metal Works.
