This role manages field operations, construction supervisors, subcontractors, and multiple crews to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">The ideal candidate has experience in fiber and underground telecommunications construction, strong leadership abilities, and a hands-on approach to solving field challenges.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Provide exceptional customer service when interfacing with clients and addressing escalated issues.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Direct and coordinate the activities of multiple field crews and job sites.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Manage construction projects from start to completion while ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Schedule crews, assign work, and monitor project progress against deadlines.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Supervise construction supervisors and ensure work quality and production targets are met.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Promote and enforce safe work practices while maintaining a strong safety culture.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Review and interpret construction drawings, maps, blueprints, contracts, specifications, and bid documents.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Identify and resolve design or blueprint issues prior to and during construction.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Oversee subcontractor work, maintain subcontractor relationships, and ensure contractual compliance.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Participate in project estimating,
