    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>You belong at Day &amp; Ross.&nbsp;</strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Licensed Mobile Trailer Technician</p><p>Full-Time</p><p>Edmonton, AB&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Available Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>The Mobile Trailer Technician performs maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a fleet of trailers. This is an outdoor, yard-based role requiring independent work.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>How You'll Help:</p><ul><li>Complete maintenance and repairs based on work orders&nbsp;</li><li>Diagnose and service brakes, suspension, axles, tires, lighting, wiring, hydraulics, and HVAC/refrigeration systems&nbsp;</li><li>Repair trailer bodies and components (doors, frames, decals, etc.)&nbsp;</li><li>Work independently in the yard&nbsp;</li><li>Document work and communicate updates to supervisors/managers</li><li>Carry out other duties as assigned to support overall fleet operations.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Your Skills &amp; Experience:</p><ul><li>Licensed Trailer Technician certification</li><li>Red Seal endorsement is an asset</li><li>Experience in trailer/transport maintenance&nbsp;</li><li>Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills&nbsp;</li><li>Physically capable of manual work and tight spaces&nbsp;</li><li>Knowledge of safety standards and industry regulations&nbsp;</li><li>CVIP and/or Class 1 license are considered assets</li><li>Previous experience working within an industrial environment, with a strong preference for candidates who have experience in the transportation industry.</li><li>Demonstrated experience in conducting safety inspections</li><li>Physically fit and able to lift, move, reach, bend, walk, stand, grasp, balance, climb, kneel and crouch for extended period of time</li><li>Ability to work in tight spaces</li><li>Strong communication skills – verbal and written</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>What We Offer:&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Competitive pay&nbsp;</li><li>Tool &amp; boot allowance&nbsp;</li><li>Benefits + pension plan</li><li>Growth opportunities&nbsp;</li><li>Supportive work environment</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>To apply, visit our Careers page at&nbsp;<strong>dayross.com</strong>.<br><br>If you’re chosen for the role, you’ll be asked to provide reference and criminal background checks before employment.
