Directly or indirectly, you'll have exposure to cutting-edge technology and groundbreaking medical research.</p>\n<p><strong>Sibley Memorial Hospital </strong>in <strong>Washington D.C.</strong> is hiring for <strong>Respiratory Therapists </strong>in<strong> the NICU.</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Schedule:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>PRN Schedule</li>\n <li>Needs are on both AM and PM shifts</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Pay Rate</strong>: $55</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Responsible for the administration of all respiratory care modalities, that include the following:  - Invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation  - Inhaled medication administration  - Administration of medical gases   - Humidity therapy  - Airway management  - Bronchial hygiene/airway clearance  - Chest tube management  - Blood gas management  - Intra-hospital transport</li>\n <li>Responsible for rendering comprehensive assessments to patients with cardiopulmonary compromise including clinical pathways and interpreting patient data to make evidence-based recommendations for continued care.</li>\n <li>Responsible for clinical patient electronic health record management including clinical documentation, billing, and hand-off.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum of Associates degree is required</li>\n <li>DC Respiratory License is required</li>\n <li>BLS CPR required</li>\n <li>Registered Respiratory Therapist (R.R.T.) required</li>\n <li>Experience working in the NICU is required</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Johns Hopkins Health System and its affiliates are an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employers.
