Role Overview: What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you will support the VP, Sales & Service over our Global Technology and Entertainment verticals. Responsibilities will include converting prospects into new Wheels Up members and deepening relationships with existing clients. You will also lead account management tasks, delivering a personalized sales and service experience by owning a subset of accounts- coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional service. The role is ideal for strong competitor looking to join a dynamic team in the highest growth sectors of our business.
Responsibilities
Your Key Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
Manage and grow a portfolio of client relationships, acting as the day-to-day point of contact for a defined book of business
Partner with the VP and pod support team to identify, qualify, and convert prospective members through outreach, lead follow-up, and quoting support
Identify opportunities to upsell existing customers and collaborate with VP to execute
Collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Support and Flight Services Management teams to deliver premium member experience
Assist in presentation of flight quotes—both on-fleet and off-fleet
Communicate pricing, aircraft details, and travel itineraries to clients, ensuring accuracy and timely follow-up
Monitor client activity and proactively reach out to drive renewals, repeat bookings, and deeper engagement
Support issue resolution related to irregular operations (IROPs) by liaising with internal teams and providing client updates
Maintain accurate records and updates in the CRM to support your VP and ensure seamless team-based service
Qualifications
What You Bring to the Table: Education & Certification Requirements
We’re looking for someone who has a unique mix of experience, skills, and passion for what we do:
Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in a strategic sale, account management, or client-facing role
Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with a customer-first mindset
Ability to manage multiple accounts and coordinate across teams in a fast-paced environment
A proactive, client-first mindset with the ability to anticipate needs
Comfortable working with quoting tools, CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred), and proposal documentation
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
The Extras We Value (Preferred Requirements)
While not mandatory, here are some additional things that would make you stand out:
Background in tech, finance, private aviation, luxury services, or high-touch B2B sales
Experience coordinating across multiple functions to execute a strategic initiative
Demonstrated success in a quota-carrying or growth-oriented role
Ability to anticipate client needs and tailor recommendations accordingly
High attention to detail in managing logistics and documentation
Physical Requirements

At Wheels Up, we believe in fair compensation based on experience, skills, and qualifications. The yearly base compensation for this role ranges from $85,000 - $95,000, depending on a variety of factors. We don’t typically start individuals at the top of the salary range; your place within the range is based on what you bring to the table. Additionally, you will be eligible for an incentive program (commission), which rewards individual and organizational performance.
