A HGV class 2 is required, and experience of jetting is essential. Training can be provided to a successful candidate. </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">This position requires candidates to be on call for shifts six days a week. Applicants will receive one paid rest day each week. The on-call shift is from 16:00 PM to 02:00 AM each day. During this time, successful applicants must be able to drive to the depot and collect the vehicle.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Applicants will be paid 70 hours per week (inclusive of one paid rest day) </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Location:</span> Leyland, Lancashire.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Salary: </span>Base up to £49,722 per annum (dependent on experience) OTE of £50,000+ with call outs</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities – but not limited to:</span> </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Investigating any works that need to be conducted.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Assess any issues and put a resolution in place.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Use of Jetting machinery to conduct works to ensure safety of public.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Covering works across the United Utilities network across the North West</span></li>\n<li>Attending to customers, informing them of works to be carried out and answering any concerns as well as timescales</li>\n<li>Inspect drainage systems to identify blockages, leaks, or damage that could hinder water flow.</li>\n<li>Carry out all aspects of high pressure water jetting</li>\n<li>Operate high-pressure water jetting equipment to clean and clear blockages in drains, sewers, pipes, and other wastewater systems.</li>\n<li>Carry out CCTV inspections where required to assess the condition of underground pipes and sewers.</li>\n<li>Competent in using an electronic device - laptop / tablet for data entry purposes</li>\n<li>Ensuring safety issues are reported in line with company procedures</li>\n<li>Perform routine maintenance and servicing of high-pressure water jetting equipment to ensure it is in proper working order.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><em>Full training will be given in the following: Jetting/SLG/First Aid/Manual Handling/Confined Spaces.</em></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Experience and qualifications required for the role:</span> </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Previous experience working within a reactive role is desirable but not essential.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Drainage knowledge (not essential)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Class 2 HGV Licence.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">No more than 6 points on licence.</span><br></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Able to use machinery in compliance with safety standards.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Training will be provided.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What you will get in return:</span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">In joining Sapphire Utility Solutions as part of the Lanes Group - the UK’s largest independent provider, we are committed to fostering a workplace culture that prioritises the well-being, growth, and safety of our employees.
