This role offers lucrative earning potential and excellent flexibility while working alongside a collaborative care team with a strong support structure.</p>\n<p><strong>Quick Facts</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Employment Type: </strong>Independent Contractor/1099</li>\n <li><strong>Schedule / Hours: </strong>Enjoy the flexibility of a part-time or an on-call position</li>\n <li><strong>Patient Encounters:</strong> average of 15 total patient encounters per day</li>\n <li><strong>Location: </strong>Madera, CA</li>\n <li><strong>Practice Setting: </strong>Behavioral Health Facility, Inpatient</li>\n <li><strong>Compensation:</strong> very competitive per patient rate</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Conduct initial evaluations and assessments, provide treatment team leadership, and deliver daily care to assigned patients.</li>\n <li>Work with a diverse caseload of individuals aged 18 and older</li>\n <li>Collaborate with physicians, APPs, and support staff</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Board Certified / Board Eligible in Psychiatry</li>\n <li>Licensed to practice in California or eligibility to obtain a CA license</li>\n <li>Meet all credentialing criteria required by participating physicians</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>About the Organization & Community</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>River Vista is a newer, state-of-the-art 128-bed behavioral health hospital that opened its doors in 2023. We offer a full continuum of inpatient services, including specialized units catering to the unique needs of children, adolescents, and older adults with co-occurring behavioral health and substance-use issues. We offer robust outpatient programs addressing prevalent behavioral health concerns.</li>\n <li>Madera, CA is in California’s San Joaquin Valley, about 20 miles north of Fresno. The community is known for its diversity, family-oriented neighborhoods and a blend of small-town atmosphere with growing local amenities.
