Key Responsibilities
Assist in setting up and operating CNC and/or manual machines such as lathes, mills, and grinders.
Follow blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions to produce accurate parts.
Measure and inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision instruments.
Perform basic machine maintenance and ensure a clean, safe work area.
Monitor machine operations and report any issues to senior machinists or supervisors.
Support continuous improvement efforts to increase efficiency and quality.
Learn and apply shop safety procedures and proper use of tools and equipment.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
Completion of a machining, manufacturing, or technical program preferred.
Basic knowledge of machining principles, mechanical aptitude, and use of hand tools.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements.
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both orally and in writing
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as required.
