The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of commercial roofing systems. The successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency in various roofing materials, techniques, and safety procedures.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><strong>Duties/Responsibilities:</strong></span></p><ul><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Execute installation and repair of various commercial roofing systems, including flat roofs, low-slope roofs, and pitched roofs.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Work with a variety of roofing materials such as EPDM, TPO, PVC, metal, and asphalt shingles.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Identify and troubleshoot roofing issues to determine the most effective solutions.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and your team.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow proper safety procedures during all roofing activities.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure timely and efficient completion of roofing projects.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Communicate effectively with clients to address their roofing needs and provide updates on project progress.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Ensure the highest quality workmanship in all roofing installations and repairs.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Conduct thorough inspections to identify and rectify any defects or issues.</li></ul><h2><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><strong>Required Skills/Abilities:&nbsp;</strong></span></h2><ul><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Proven experience as a Roofing Mechanic in the commercial roofing industry.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Familiarity with various roofing materials and systems.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Strong understanding of safety procedures and commitment to workplace safety.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Ability to work independently and as part of a team.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Ability to travel as necessary with or without notice locally.</li></ul><h2><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><strong>Education and Experience:</strong></span></h2><ul><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">High School Diploma / GED</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Degree in Business or Construction management preferred but not required.</li></ul><h2><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><strong>Physical Requirements:&nbsp;</strong></span></h2><ul><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Prolonged periods of standing and kneeling.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Periodically climbing ladders to access work area&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Working long periods of time outdoors exposed to different weather conditions.&nbsp;<ol style=\"font-size: initial;\"><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Heat, cold, high wind, day and night etc.</li></ol></li></ul></div></div>\n",
