The Director is responsible for providing leadership in all facets of patient care and is accountable for the initiation and completion of business and unit plans that ensure quality while utilizing available resources efficiently. This leader is accountable for alignment of the care center vision with the organization mission, values, and excellence goals (people, service, financial, clinical) and may be responsible for 24-hour accountability.</span></p><p><span style=\"color: rgb(152, 30, 50); font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 13pt;\"><strong>Key Relationships</strong></span></span></p><p style=\"line-height: 115%;\"><span style=\"color: rgb(38, 38, 38); font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"line-height: 115%;\"><u>Reports to</u>: Vice President – Chief Nursing Officer</span></span></p><p><span style=\"color: rgb(152, 30, 50); font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 13pt;\"><strong>Candidate Qualifications</strong></span></span></p><p><span style=\"color: rgb(38, 38, 38); font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\">Candidates for the position will be evaluated according to the following criteria and competencies.</span></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\">Masters of Nursing or related field is required or actively enrolled.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\">Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\">Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\">Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\">Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\">Requires completion Clinical Specialty Professional Certification within 1 year upon meeting eligibility requirements.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\">Requires 7-10 years of relevant experience.</span></li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><span style=\"color: rgb(38, 38, 38);\">Indiana University Health is&nbsp;</span><span>unlike any other healthcare system and we're looking for team members who share the things that matter most to us.
