This role will focus on legal execution, documentation, advisory support, and risk mitigation while ensuring alignment with local laws and company policies.</p><hr><h2><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h2><h3><strong>Legal Advisory & Execution</strong></h3><ul><li><p>Provide legal advice on assigned areas including labor law, intellectual property, and commercial matters.</p></li><li><p>Support business and internal departments with day-to-day legal consultations.</p></li><li><p>Interpret laws, regulations, and regulatory guidelines applicable in Bangladesh.</p></li></ul><h3><strong>Contract & Document Management</strong></h3><ul><li><p>Draft, review, and analyze contracts, agreements, MOUs, and legal documents.</p></li><li><p>Identify legal risks in contracts and propose practical mitigation measures.</p></li><li><p>Maintain proper documentation and legal records.</p></li></ul><h3><strong>Legal Research & Analysis</strong></h3><ul><li><p>Conduct legal research on relevant laws, rules, and judicial precedents.</p></li><li><p>Prepare legal opinions, summaries, and internal legal guidance notes.</p></li><li><p>Monitor legal and regulatory developments impacting the business.</p></li></ul><h3><strong>Compliance & Risk Support</strong></h3><ul><li><p>Assist in ensuring compliance with Bangladesh labor laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements.</p></li><li><p>Support internal investigations, dispute handling, and compliance reviews.</p></li><li><p>Coordinate with external lawyers, regulators, and authorities when required.</p></li></ul><h3><strong>Cross-Functional Collaboration</strong></h3><ul><li><p>Work closely with HR, Compliance, Finance, Operations, and Business teams.</p></li><li><p>Support internal training sessions on legal awareness and compliance topics.</p></li></ul><hr><h2><strong>Required Qualifications & Experience</strong></h2><h3><strong>Education & Certification</strong></h3><ul><li><p><strong>LLB and LLM</strong> or above from a recognized university.</p></li><li><p><strong>Bangladesh Bar Council </strong><strong>license </strong>(Advocate license mandatory) </p></li><li><p>Additional professional legal certifications are an advantage.</p></li></ul><h3><strong>Experience</strong></h3><ul><li><p><strong>3–5 years</strong> of relevant legal experience in corporate, fintech, financial services, telecom, or law firms.</p></li><li><p>Hands-on experience in legal documentation, contract review, and advisory work.</p></li><li><p>Exposure to labor law and IP-related matters is strongly preferred.</p></li></ul><h3><strong>Skills & Competencies</strong></h3><ul><li><p>Solid professional legal knowledge with strong analytical ability.</p></li><li><p>Excellent legal document analysis and drafting skills.</p></li><li><p>Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.</p></li><li><p>High attention to detail with strong execution capability.</p></li></ul><h3><strong>Language</strong></h3><ul><li><p>Fluency in <strong>English and Bangla</strong> (written and verbal).</p></li></ul><hr><h2><strong>Compensation & Benefits</strong></h2><ul><li><p>Competitive salary</p></li><li><p>Festival bonuses and mobile/internet allowance</p></li><li><p>Career development opportunities within a multinational fintech company</p></li><li><p>Exposure to complex legal matters in a high-growth environment</p></li></ul>",
