    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>At Edifecs you’ll be joining the Engineering team responsible for the design & implementation of a multi-tenant SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) platform that is transforming healthcare in claims risk capture and adjustment spaces. As a member of the engineering team, your primary responsibility will be design and implementation for Edifecs’s payer and provider solutions. Your ability to autonomously & proactively drive all aspects of development is a critical requirement.</p>\n<ul>\n <li>We use administrative documentation and patient medical records to understand a patient’s medical history and make inferences about additional care which may have been performed or which may need to be performed in the future.</li>\n <li>We primarily work with Java-based solutions and AWS cloud services.</li>\n <li>You will routinely work with our Site Reliability Engineers to continually improve our infrastructure (IaaS), and security, build, and deploy pipelines.</li>\n <li>You will routinely work with our Product Management and Innovation teams to define and implement business requirements.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Contribute as a member of an Engineering team to understand product feature requirements.</li>\n <li>Responsible for producing exemplary quality & scalable code and delivering features on-time.</li>\n <li>Work within an agile environment and contribute to sprint deliverables including design, coding, review, testing and automation tasks.</li>\n <li>Design for operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.</li>\n <li>Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, etc.</li>\n <li>Maintain excellent communication with other parts of organizations outside of engineering to foster good collaboration on resolution of operational issues.</li>\n <li>Proactive autonomy aligned to business needs with minimum supervision is critical</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>9+ years of experience.</li>\n <li>Strong proficiency in Java, Spring.</li>\n <li>Strong understanding of HTML5 and CSS design principles/techniques and demonstrable experience in building world-class, consumer web application interfaces.</li>\n <li>Experience of working with advanced web application frameworks.</li>\n <li>Experience designing databases and building web applications or RESTful APIs.</li>\n <li>Experience in working with highly available and scalable microservices.</li>\n <li>Understanding and experience in advanced J/S frameworks like AngularJS.</li>\n <li>Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.</li>\n <li>Ability to take business requirements as input, transform them into software solutions and deliver those solutions.</li>\n <li>Experience working on a professional development team including delivery of client/customer facing application/s and support of live production systems.</li>\n <li>Experience with automation of build and deployment processes is a plus.</li>\n <li>Ability to autonomously install, configure, administer, upgrade, and troubleshoot all software needed for development & production.</li>\n <li>Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to work independently or with little supervision</li>\n <li>BS or MS in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited institution.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>What you’ll be working with:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Java</li>\n <li>Spring, Spring-Boot, Spring-Cloud, JPA</li>\n <li>Angular</li>\n <li>Docker Containers in Kubernetes</li>\n <li>RDBMS, Postgres SQL & NoSQL</li>\n <li>AWS Services, SQS, RDS, EC2, Commit, Build, Deploy</li>\n <li>Terraform</li>\n</ul>",
