    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Title:       </span>Readiness Support Specialist (RSS)<span style=\"font-weight: bold\">                      FLSA:  </span>Non-Exempt      <br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Reports To:   </span>Clinical Coordinator    <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">                                                Status: </span>Full-time<br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Last Update: </span>8/22/2024      <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">                                                           </span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Company Summary: </span>Crossroads is an Arizona Department of Health Services licensed substance abuse treatment provider with proven expertise in serving men, women, and Veterans with Substance Use Disorder through the provision of high quality, successful, and affordable residential and outpatient recovery programs.</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Due to federal contracts the following items are prohibited:  Medical/Recreational marijuana, current parole, or probation.</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Summary: </span>The Readiness Support Specialist (RSS) supports and assists the Clinical team in various aspects of Programming.</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Supervisory Responsibilities:  </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>None</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Essential Functions:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Facilitate Right Track Readiness group.</li>\n<li>Assist with all aspects of Clinical duties including, but not limited to intake, orientation, client file creation, and maintenance.</li>\n<li>Provides individual peer case management, to include crisis management as needed.</li>\n<li>Facilitates coordination of care to include case review, client progress in treatment and coordination of aftercare services.</li>\n<li>Participates in clinical staff meetings, trainings and other activities as required.</li>\n<li>Discuss issues regarding program requirements and/or conflicts with clients.</li>\n<li>Coordinate client care with CCOM and Clinic staff as needed.</li>\n<li>Assist staff in acclimating the client upon intake to facility.</li>\n<li>Assist clients with telehealth appointments as needed.</li>\n<li>Assist clients in completing applications for government assistance, handling legal issues, and referrals to independent agencies.</li>\n<li>Make copies, collates, staples, and files program materials as needed.</li>\n<li>Performs other duties, as required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications: </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must meet Arizona Department of Health Services personnel member requirements of: at least 21 years old; or licensed or certified under A.R.S. Title 32 and providing services within the personnel member's scope of practice.</li>\n<li>Must be in recovery equal to or greater than 6 months, required.</li>\n<li>Current CPR/First Aid/Narcan training.</li>\n<li>Current and annual negative TB Test.</li>\n<li>Current and valid Fingerprint Clearance Card.</li>\n<li>Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check performed annually and upon hire, preferred.</li>\n<li>Successfully pass a background check and an Arizona Department of Health Services Adult Protective Services check.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>A working knowledge of addiction, recovery, and twelve step programs.</li>\n<li>Well-developed written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact effectively with internal and external audiences.</li>\n<li>Must maintain high ethical standards and demonstrate sound judgment, problem solving skills, and strong organizational skills.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Education &amp; Experience: </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of High school diploma or GED required.</li>\n<li>1-2 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.</li>\n<li>Peer Support Specialist certification from an Arizona approved agency or obtained within 90 days of hire, required.</li>\n<li>Computer/Microsoft Office and EMR experience.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Work Environment: </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fast paced behavioral health residential setting.</li>\n<li>Primarily indoors, however, some outdoor <br>work may be requested.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Physical Demands: </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>While performing job duties, the employee is regularly required to sit and speak or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel, reach hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and seldom lift and/or move &gt;100 pounds.
