    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Element has an opportunity for a EMI/EMC Technician III to join our rapidly expanding team. As a member of the operations team, the Senior Test Technician position performs a variety of routine and non-routine testing assignments within the department assigned and insures timely and accurate test results under minimal direct supervision.  The technician positions must be proficient in a number of core business skills including but not limited to compliance to established safety rules, code of conduct, and company policies and procedures.</p>\n<p>Salary: $25.39- $42.33/hr DOE </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience testing to IEC-61000 and CISPR commercial test standards</li>\n <li>Performs duties comparable to that of a Senior Technician, utilizing the added skills and knowledge that comes with earning an</li>\n <li>Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a testing-related field</li>\n <li>Designs, sets-up and performs a variety of test according to customer specifications and requirements</li>\n <li>Requires very little supervision and technical input of a Department Manager, Principal Technician, Project Coordinator or Engineer</li>\n <li>Possess the ability to mentor and train technicians who have less experience through effective communication of technical data</li>\n <li>Ability to transfer technical knowledge/requirements and successfully satisfy and meet customer specifications</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Skills / Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Working knowledge of laboratory safety</p></li>\n <li><p>College or vocational school coursework certificate preferred</p></li>\n <li><p>Possesses a recognized scientific or engineering qualification, normally at a Bachelor degree level and/or 6-8 years of significant experience in a testing related field through which an equivalent level of knowledge has been attained</p></li>\n <li><p>In-depth understanding of testing concepts</p></li>\n <li><p>Analyzes and compiles testing data from the tests performed</p></li>\n <li><p>Possess strong computer skills</p><p> </p><p>Physical Demands:</p><p> </p></li>\n <li><p>Frequency of required physical force: Minimum (moderate)</p></li>\n <li><p>Lifting requirements: lifting <50 lbs. often and >50 lbs. on occasion</p></li>\n <li><p>Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time</p></li>\n <li><p>Ability to lift 50+lbs periodically</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Diversity Statement</h2>\n<p>At Element, we always take pride in putting our people first.
