In this role, you’ll interpret intricate compliance requirements, develop packaging and labeling strategies, manage multi-jurisdictional product registrations, and serve as a trusted liaison with regulatory agencies and external partners.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>This role offers the flexibility of working a hybrid schedule between your home and our office in Pine Brook, NJ.</em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. and should not require sponsorship now or in the future to legally work in the U.S.</em></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Manage complex chemical registrations, compliance and notifications across multiple jurisdictions.</li>\n <li>Develop and implement regulatory product profiles and strategies and procedures for packaging and labeling compliance for regional application within global best practices.</li>\n <li>Respond to formulation compliance concerns.</li>\n <li>Interpret and apply complex regulatory requirements to product development and lifecycle management.</li>\n <li>Interpret ambiguous country specific regulatory requirements, developing organizational positions in areas of uncertainty, and influencing commercial decision-making to reduce regulatory risk while enabling business growth.</li>\n <li>Lead the preparation and submission of complex regulatory reports, documents and filings.</li>\n <li>Prepare regulatory documents (with or without external expertise), ensuring compliance with regulations.</li>\n <li>Conduct regulatory risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies.</li>\n <li>Act as an internal regulatory compliance expert and provide advice as and when necessary.</li>\n <li>Coach and educate junior team members and/or other departments on regulatory requirements.</li>\n <li>Liaise with regulatory agencies and external stakeholders.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor degree in chemistry, biology, environmental sciences, chemical engineering, or related field. Master degree preferred</li>\n <li>5-8 years in regulatory compliance field. CPG and global compliance experience is preferred</li>\n <li>Deep knowledge of chemical registrations and compliance across multiple jurisdictions</li>\n <li>Comprehensive understanding of product and labeling regulations and packaging compliance</li>\n <li>Ability to interpret complex/ambiguous regulatory requirements and develop defensible positions</li>\n <li>Experience conducting regulatory risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies</li>\n <li>Ability to interpret scientific data and translate it into regulatory documentation</li>\n <li>Strong communication skills with regulatory agencies, as well as internal and external stakeholders</li>\n <li>Knowledge of product chemistry and product lifecycle management</li>\n <li>5-10% travel (domestic and international)</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>About Us</h2>\n<p><strong>Our “Why”</strong></p>\n<p>At WD-40 Company, we believe that purpose-driven, passionate people guided by our values create amazing outcomes.
