The care provided is appropriate for an out-patient, primary care community health center with a multicultural, multilingual patient population. The&nbsp;</span><span style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\" id=\"isPasted\"><strong data-start=\"529\" data-end=\"571\">Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)</strong> will provide trauma-informed, holistic mental health care to refugees, asylees, and individuals seeking substance use disorder (SUD) treatment. The ideal candidate will have expertise in psychiatric evaluation, psychopharmacology, and integrated behavioral health, with a commitment to improving access and reducing stigma for marginalized communities.</span></p><p style='font-size: 13px; font-family: \"Times New Roman\", serif; margin: 6pt 0in; text-align: justify; line-height: 1.5;'><span style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\"><strong>As a member of the health center&rsquo;s integrated care team the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will fulfill the following <u>KEY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES</u> towards the provision of patient-centered, coordinated patient care:</strong></span></p><ul><li data-start=\"989\" data-end=\"1068\" style=\"line-height: 1.5; font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and mental status examinations.</li><li data-start=\"1071\" data-end=\"1184\" style=\"line-height: 1.5; font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Diagnose and treat psychiatric disorders, including mood, anxiety, trauma-related, and substance use disorders.</li><li data-start=\"1187\" data-end=\"1323\" style=\"line-height: 1.5; font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating evidence-based psychopharmacology, psychotherapy, and community support services.</li><li data-start=\"1326\" data-end=\"1474\" style=\"line-height: 1.5; font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications, including MAT (Medication-Assisted Treatment) for opioid and alcohol use disorders when appropriate.</li><li data-start=\"1477\" data-end=\"1583\" style=\"line-height: 1.5; font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Provide crisis intervention and risk assessment for suicidality, self-harm, and psychiatric emergencies</li><li data-start=\"1477\" data-end=\"1583\" style=\"line-height: 1.5; font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Examine, diagnose, and treat patients within the parameters of his/her licensure.</li><li data-start=\"1477\" data-end=\"1583\" style=\"line-height: 1.5; font-size: 14px; font-family: arial, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Provides telephone, electronic, and/or in-person consultations with providers about specific patient issues. &nbsp;These issues can include diagnostic clarification, next steps, treatment recommendations, assistance with challenging patients, etc.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.5; font-family: arial, sans-serif; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Provides direct consultations for complex patients or patients who are not improving and makes recommendations to the patient&rsquo;s medical provider.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;
